We just switched family doctors to Dr Popescu and are very happy with our first visits! The staff, nurses, and Dr. Popescu herself have been fantastic so far. Prompt follow-up, easy-to-book appointments with quick availability, running on time, compassionate care, a clean and bright office, and a super convenient pharmacy. We were sad to leave our long-time Family Physician in Mississauga but we’re so happy we now have a fantastic doctor and team in our new hometown!

I was told back in February that Dr. Braig was accepting new patients. I submitted a new patient form and was told I would be contacted in a few weeks time. After several weeks I started emailing and calling asking when I would hear from them. I was told that I would be receiving a phone call soon. Now, after many months I emailed again asking for an update and they have just now told me they are not accepting new patients. After almost 5 months of waiting for any response, I would have appreciated them not stringing me along and telling me months ago they were no longer accepting patients. Would have preferred the honesty up front. Or at least an apology for constantly telling me I would receive a call and then never calling.

Dr Baig and Wyndham clinic is very unprofessional.Filled form to get accepted as new patient in February.Called them several times and they said wait , they will let me know if dr has accepted me or not.They did not get back and when I called today , lady said she cannot accept me as new patient without any reason (I have clear medical history)My 4 months got wasted in hoping that I will family dr .Now I m without one and need some medical assistance which only family dr can give..Now have to again start the search.Horrible place

Dr Baig is wonderful. She is kind and caring and does a follow up with you when you have a problem and when you finish to speak she will ask you if you have any question. I recommend Dr Baig.

This Dr's office is terrible. Forms and messages are quite often lost. The office manager is extremely rude and condescending. He is impatient and doesn't listen to your requests long enough to fill them. I would not suggest you go to this doctor's office if you have anything more then the common cold. Dr.Baig is always on vacation and always misses her phone ppointments. She does not see patients in clinic no matter how severe their diagnosis may be. The clinic is extremely incompetent and if you value your health I would not suggest you go there.

I also hate writing these reviews especially when it's the same reason as I've seen a lot posts. I have no complaints about my doctor, it is the receptionists. I also had the same issue with the male. I was injured at work, I work evenings, he woke me up with questions that I answered a long with an issues as a result. He later called, less then 3 hrs later, I had an appt in that time. Asked me something I wasn't prepared said what I believed then basically yelled at me and I felt like I was victim shamed and have been doing my medical research on my own since. I have called to make an in person visit. Told to call the morning of (my doctor presently only works 2 days in the office it isn't hard to keep track of I would think) and asked what days she is in too call in. I got up early to call to be told she was only doing virtual that day. I specifically asked and was told to call. I am on time sensitive issues and have been in pain for 7 months. I also called about test results in this matter told be told if there was an issue they would call. This delayed my treatments by over 3 weeks and I had to call back again to get them. The staff has no clue what is going on. They need either new staff or re-education, as they have no idea what is even happening in their own clinic. So unprofessional and may need to change if I can't get medical treatment that I need as these are just a few examples that I regretfully have to report

I really hate writing this review since I actually like my doctor and some of the staff there. Unfortunately, most of the time I call I am forced to deal with rudest and most disrespectful "gatekeeper". I work, go to school, and take care of my now one-year-old. The male receptionist shamed me when I wasn't able to answer the 3 phone calls from the office. I don't get time off, so when I finally do, I try to catch-up on missed calls. I don't need to be shamed for trying to maintain my livelihood. I tried to book my daughter's "one year" vaccines which I was a couple weeks late doing BECAUSE SHE HAD COVID. He would see those positive test results or at least could've asked me. Instead of asking for clarification he raised his voice and told me "he was just stating facts" but he wasn't stating facts. There is a lot more that can be said but I really don't think that your healthcare provider's office should leave you in tears. awful experience.

I'm not one to write negative reviews, but I could not let this go unheard. I am completely appalled by how this clinic is run. I heard they were taking new patients back in January, so I called the office and was told that I needed to come in to fill out a new patient form, but the soonest appointment (just to fill out a form) would be in April. I'm new to Guelph and have had a very hard time finding a doctor, so I agreed to the wait. After a long anticipated three months, I show up for my appointment and was instantly told that the doctor will not be taking on any patients who have any mental health history. This seemed very inappropriate, non inclusive, and extremely tone deaf. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and anyone could require mental health assistance at any point in their life. Not all patients need ongoing or long-term mental health care just because they've needed it in the past. If this is in fact a requirement that doctors can create, people should be informed upfront instead of waiting three months to find out. The receptionist, who was far from polite, went on to tell me that the doctor doesn't want any "difficult" patients, and they are picking and choosing which patients they want - they'll continue to take new patient forms and make people wait months while they choose the patients they want. As I started to question the ethics behind this, he began to raise his voice with me. That's when I decided this is not the clinic for me. I'll continue my search until I can find a doctor who cares for all types of physical and mental wellbeing, with a more ethical approach.
