I ended up with a Canon R5 and some studio lights for a corporate video shoot, and it went great. These guys were great to me even though I didn't know exactly what I needed.

They suggested the best product for what I was looking for, which in my case was the DJI Ronin S, walked me through what I needed to know and even provided a link with a helpful video on how to operate since it was our first time using it. The rental process was quick and easy. The shoot went smoothly and we are very happy with the footage.

Q	Quinn Candler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys were a w e s o m e. I had a one-time video project to do and came into things with little to no info/knowledge. Not only are the practically infinite options for AV tech overwhelming, I was also talked down to and felt sort of dismissed by the other shops I called. Jason, however, was AMAZING. He took the time to ask me about what I was doing and explained a number of options to me with zero sales pressure and NO judgement, even though I was paddling in the kiddie pool compared to what he knows. We ended up finding somewhat that worked within my budget, and he was super responsive when I had questions while filming, and when I needed to extend my rental. Personally, I won't be going anywhere else in Vancouver for future rentals and honestly, unless you're already SUPER knowledgeable about what you're looking for, you shouldn't either. (And even then, wouldn't you rather enjoy the company of the people you're renting from?) Thanks y'all!

Calling around town for gear, the customer service was immediately night and day compared to the other camera rental stores in town. Jason stayed on the phone with me to ask me what I needed, offering options he thought would be most helpful. Never became impatient with my amateur questions. Then when I went into the shop to check out the different options, he had everything prepared for me, and took his time showing me each one, even helping me learn my new camera and how to navigate the menu. Prices are affordable and more than fair. I really appreciate customer service like this. It makes such a big difference in my overall experience, and also just in my day! It makes me happy to support local, small businesses like these.

I worked with Jason, who is not only passionate about what he does, but also shared many how-to, which helped to improve our quality of video streaming. Jason was very accommodating and dedicated to making sure our shoot went smoothly. They have some unique pieces of gear you're unlikely to find elsewhere and conveniently located making pickups a breeze. Highly recommended, will definitely check back with them again when planning my next shoot.
