This is my personal experience with Ame! When picking a wedding photo style it was really important for me to have photos that captured the moments. When picking a company to be with us for our special day, aka the day we will spend the most money on in our lives lol, I wanted it all. I wanted the photos that are posed but also to see the moments that I couldn't be there for. I originally interviewed 3 teams and went with Ame. We chose the team at Ame because they are SO so good at capturing emotion, facial expressions and just the overall intention of the moment. Their photos illicit emotion. ?Anyone can pose people and take the photos you need from a wedding ie couple, individual, family, wedding party etc.. but what Ame does that makes them stand out is the candids. When I look through the photos I remember what was happening, what led up to it. I posted some of my fav candids that I wasn't expecting but ended being some or my fav pictures from the day. Anyways tldr thank you so much to the Amecollective team for going above and beyond to capture one of the best days of my life. Can't wait for y'all to take my newborn and one year wedding anniversary family photos!

The Ame Collective Team consists of a group of extremely passionate, dedicated and talented people. After looking at all our photos and wedding video, we know we made the right decision to go with them. Our wedding video that they created is very unique and tells our story in a very special way. We knew we wanted a wedding video that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. During our search for a photography team, we arranged many meetings and watched many films that each company made. As a person that really values time, we would highly recommend going with Ame Collective because our experience with them was magical. Phoebe took us to their viewing room and showed us their samples and style for photography and videography. I can tell that she is truly proud and genuine with all the work the team has put in to make each and every video so purposeful. She set the mood by dimming the lights and we began watching wedding videos of complete strangers. Although they were strangers, my husband and I felt touched, moved and really loved how each and every video was different in their own way. Phoebe really committed to getting started at understanding our story during this first session. We were really excited to see what they could do with our story! At first, I was quite nervous to be filmed. Kevin the videographer, is the most creative person I’ve ever met. He has many talents ranging from being a good listener, knowing how to ask probing questions that helped me reflect and think about my relationship on a whole new level. He listens to understand and not to respond. We can tell that Kevin spent countless hours editing and piecing the clips seamlessly in each transition. In the end, our wedding story turned out better than we expected and we couldn’t be happier with the whole film. We have been having a great time watching it with our family and friends. We have also been getting 100% on Rotten Tomato and audience score! Our engagement and wedding photos were taken by Eric. He has a really good eye and has the gift of capturing memorable and natural moments. He was flexible when it came to our engagement shoot (locations etc) and comprehensive when it came to the wedding day. My husband and I had so much trouble picking our favourites and which ones to print. We had a total of 168 favourites - I’m still having trouble narrowing them down. This just goes to show that Eric is truly remarkable at his job! We would like to thank the team for being so accommodating, flexible and helpful throughout the wedding day. We can see ourselves working with them again to film and take photos of our next few milestones #Part3! Amazing, amazing, amazing work!! Everyone at Ame Collective was fantastic to work with and our wedding photos and video are so beautiful. I love how they were able to get all the little moments in our wedding and words cannot express how happy we are with the final results. I am very shy and awkward in front of the cameras, but the whole team was so comforting and easy going that I actually forgot we were being filmed most of the time. I could write a whole essay on why you should choose Ame Collective, but to sum it up: Ame Collective has the magic ability to not only capture the candid, serious, and happy moments of your wedding, but they're able to capture the mood and essence of the moment and put that into a photo that you can keep forever. Everyone that has seen our photos/video comments on how great they are (it doesn't hurt that Ame knows just the perfect type of music to go with your video that'll make anyone cry). If you had any doubts, trust me, you will not regret hiring Ame Collective.

It was great working with the Ame team. My daughter asked me to be in her wedding story and at first, I was hesitant about it. But after speaking and meeting Kevin I decided to be a part of it. He made the process very natural and smooth. He made me feel comfortable talking about my relationship with my daughter and her soon-to-be husband. He asked the questions in a very comfortable way which made it easy for me to give honest and genuine answers. After seeing the wedding video, I felt touched that Ame put in so much work and time to make a story so wonderful. I feel very touched every time I watch the video and I am grateful to be part of it. I have no hesitation in recommending other parents to participate in their child’s wedding video as it will be an experience never to be forgotten! It was truly nice to work with the Ame team and especially Kevin. They all captured beautiful photos and videos during the wedding day to make it very memorable! AME Collective Inc., was a recommendation from our close friends. This creative team was exactly as advertised.. and more! Our initial meetings with Phoebe were personable where she took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we were looking for in terms of photography and videography. Phoebe shared with us a glimpse of their style to which we were immediately drawn to. AME Collective Inc., has a real knack for capturing organic moments of not only us, on our big day, but also our friends and family. Looking back at all our photos and videos there were many moments we were too busy to notice but was wonderfully captured to allow us to re-live our beautiful day. Above the moments that Eric, Natalie, Kevin and Brendan were able to capture and Phoebe was able to highlight – it was their attitude that made our day wonderful. The AME Collective Inc., team was so accommodating by adjusting to our postponement with the ever-changing health regulations, we felt the entire team really took care of us during the day. And yet, they also felt invisible when they were capturing our day. The quality of their work is superb and we are so happy with our choice. What an amazing experience!!! We had the pleasure of working with Ame for not one, but two weddings--our intimate backyard Covid wedding and our Part 2 South Asian wedding! The amazing crew was able to capture such beautiful candid moments throughout. Our pictures and film highlighted all the important moments of the various events, making us feel as we did not miss a beat. Thank you to Brendan and the team! We can't wait to see what you capture at the reception!

TLDR - If we could rate Ame Collective any higher than 5 stars we would. To anyone who's looking for a wedding photographer/videographer - we had the best time and LOVED working with Ame Collective. They are so passionate about their work and the amount of care and detail that goes into making sure you're taken care of leading up to and on your wedding day (even afterwards)!!! They're absolutely outstanding. You won't find a better team anywhere else. After seeing many of our friends use Ame for their weddings and being very impressed with the content, we hired Ame for our engagement photos + May 2021 wedding and we are SO happy we did! The team met with us several times over the course of 1 year through Zoom and in person (safely) and helped us plan, re-plan and re-think our pandemic wedding. They were so patient with our endless questions, and even lent a hand with the little things (there's always many little things when planning a wedding). The thing with Ame is - they will really try to get to know you and your partner and your families and all the important people and things in your life. The wedding story video is catered to each couple and the end result is not just your standard wedding reel, but something that is truly your own - a video that captures the essence of your relationship, and the individual + intertwined stories that led to marriage. The photos captured all the wedding highlights, and on top of that, Eric and Brendan also managed to grab snapshots of all the little tender moments in between. The team is so awesome and personable that we felt like we were friends at the end of it all :) I miss working with them!! This team is SO dedicated that they even got themselves sunburnt and ended up with tshirt tans after staying out with us all day on an unexpectedly hot spring day to get the right shots. And all they kept saying was, "oh don't worry at all about us, we're totally fine!!" Trust me when I say Ame goes above and beyond!! Phoebe, Kevin, Eric, Brendan, Natalie - we have nothing but great things to say about you all. We had so much fun with you guys and absolutely LOVED working with you. Thank you so much for going beyond our expectations and delivering services and content that is so much more amazing than we could have imagined.

Words can’t describe how grateful I am to the team at Ame Collective. They are such a great group to work with and throughout our experience they took the time to really get to know who we are individually and as a couple. Eric did such an amazing job shooting our photos and he made what was a nervous experience for us feel comfortable and laid back. Eric and the photography team are such a talented group and no rocky cliff or river stream is an obstacle for them to get the perfect shots. Not only did they capture the range of emotion but also all the candid and funny moments in between! One of the reasons that drew me to Ame Collective was their wedding videos. I loved the way their videos weren’t like most I had seen. They are intimate, thoughtful and really tell a story through the couple and their families. Kevin and the videography team created the most beautiful video. Their talent and creativity is demonstrated through their careful placement of shots that captures the raw roller coaster of emotion of our wedding and the beauty of our venue. Our video and photos are something that we will cherish for years to come. We thank the whole team - Phoebe, Eric, Kevin and Brendan so much for the wonderful experience!
