★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a short but sweet stay in the beautiful Thimbleberry cabin. Shawn and his family are fantastic hosts, and we love this place. We’ll be back to try it in the winter also. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at the Grande Fir Suite over September long weekend. The location is gorgeous, with great views right off the porch; it is sheltered away while still being relatively close to nearby amenities.
We stayed here while attending a wedding midweek on White Lake. This property was far and away the most popular of the nearby options at which our group resided. The ability to have a few guests over is quite an underrated feature of the area. The nature and scenery of the property is perfect but it was very nice to have the options of Wi-Fi and a TV for late or relaxing periods (or Playoffs).
The host Shaun was nothing short of phenomenal. Shaun was very professional in every aspect and we were able to communicate with him for any questions or needs very easily. From fly-fishing advice, to tips around the lake, and making sure we utilized the nearby fire pit area, by the end of our stay we felt we could chat with him as easily as any other member of our party. If you’re thinking of booking this property I highly recommend dealing with Woodland Cabins, and Shaun directly as opposed to using a third party site.
I’d highly recommend a stay at Woodland Cabins! Hopefully we are able to come back at some point in the near future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed with a group for a wedding near by and Shawn was a fantastic host. The place is amazing, great A/C, comfy beds and everything in the kitchen you could ask for. We loved the hot tub and fire pit also. Shawn even helped set up birthday decorations for one of our friends! We will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay at The Grand Fir Suite was amazing. Shaun and Brenda were wonderful hosts. The house fit 10 comfortably and the open concept is warm and inviting, perfect for socializing. The layout of the house is beautiful and the large windows allow you to take in the views of the beautiful location. The details of the house are well thought-out and contribute to a perfect getaway experience. Do not hesitate to ask any questions, they are inviting and available!
