★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked this "resort" for a family trip, their website advertised it as a family friendly fishing resort. There is NOTHING family friendly about this place, the list of rules for this site is long and its geared towards the massive amounts of seniors who live there all year long. No play ground / no kids unaccompanied ( no matter the age ) / No swimming area for kids / no bike riding ..their answer was to visit the day use for the provincial park area for swimming with kids ( this was 15 min away and consisted of a steep goat path to 30 ft of beach. The sites are TINY and cramped together, the fire pit areas are basically in the freaking road, the amount of trailers they squeezed into this area is ridiculous and in no way relaxing. The docks are the definition of dilapidated and unsafe, the cabins where riddled with spiders, i found wood bugs in the sheets of my sons bed ! We rented the pontoon boat for 3 days, at the cost of 200 per day, the boat died three times in the course of us staying there. The group consensus was never again, we liked the lake but next time we will rent a AirBnB and have some cleanliness .

We rented a Pontoon Boat for the morning...
Doug was ready for us..Boat was imaculate and full of gas.
His knowledge of the lake is outstanding and extremely helpful.
Can't wait to come back again and again. ..Camp atmosphere was outstanding. Doug knew the guests names and was so kind....Not the overwhelming type "just plain kind "

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say the lake is absolutely beautiful! I wish I could say the same about the resort. Everyone is crammed together like sardines no privacy at all. The docks are poorly maintained. The managers are not friendly at all. Not once in our 4 day stay were we asked if everything was okay. When we left they never even said goodbye hope to see you again. We will never go back there again and I will never recommend this resort to anyone. It was a sad and disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this family resort!!!! Rustic cabins offer just what you need and nothing more but the community and hard working staff are amazing! Showers were separate from the units but SPOTLESS. Turtles, fish, Affordable boat rentals, crystal clear warm water. We’re coming back to this gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great resort with really nice helpful people. Great fishing lake. We stayed in cabin 31 which was as exactly as advertised.
We rented the pontoon boat which was way nicer then the photos on the website. We caught several fish and had lots of action on the lake our fish were all under a pound but we saw others bring in 5 - 7 pound fish. Water is super clean, clear and great for swimming.
We will be back next year for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took the wife there on a kayaking trip and stayed in one of the cabins, it was perfect. The cabin was very nice and clean, and right on the waters. They have lots of wildlife and excellent fishing. The hosts were very friendly. This was our second time there.
