โ โ โ โ โ Completely satisfied my Montreal style smoked meat craving. Yes it's on the pricy side but this is significant stack of meaty wonderfulness. As evidenced in the photo. Accompanied the sandwich with potato salad and a dill pickle; both highly recommended. Great combo but be warned this a lot of food. I was confused by the four slices of bread but once you dig into this sandwich it becomes abundantly clear why this is necessary. Counter staff very pleasant and helpful suggest additional items that go well with the meal. Vernor's soda pop was suggested which I haven't had in many years. If you like cream soda Venor's is a subtle version of that. Personally not a fan of cream soda. Vernor's is nothing like ginger ale which I thought it resembled. Will definitely return if I venture back up to this part of Toronto.

โ โ โ โ โ Went to this deli because my favourite Jewish deli (Pancerโs) was closed that day. I was hoping to find another favourite Jewish deli spot but was disappointed. The place was very small and all the plates were disposable. I had the roast beef sandwich which was flavourless and a latke which was pre-cooked and spongey. I will say that the owner and server were very nice, which created a kind atmosphere, but I would only go here again if Pancerโs was closed.

โ โ โ โ โ Stumbled upon Uber Eats and today I finally ordered. Let me tell you, this is one of the best in the city. Local ma and pa shop and they do not disappoint. Ordered the Smoked Meat it was juicy and very generous. Definitely a place to try, we have yet to actually sit and enjoy the ambiance.

โ โ โ โ โ Had to write a review because there was unfair comments. Wolfies has the best rye bread I have tasted. It is outstanding. My kids ask me to bring a loaf home they like it so much. They provide 4 slices to make the sandwiches more manageable to eat for those that find a ยฝ a pound of meat daunting by making 2 smaller sandwiches. The bread slices are a perfect thickness because the star of the show is the meat. They always accommodate my schmaltzy order of fatty corned beef. The meat is perfectly spiced and not too salty. They provide a selection of mustards, which for me, yellow mustard is preferred and not dull. To suggest Wolfies is overpriced is nonsense. They are fairly priced as they should be for a premium product. My sandwich special included sliced pickles and the best creamy coleslaw I have tasted. Most restaurants cannot make a coleslaw. I urge you to give the creamy coleslaw a try. I have been going to Wolfies for years. To suggest the premises are not clean is more nonsense. The building is old and cozy which adds to the charm, love the old pictures. Staff is great to chat with which adds to the relaxed atmosphere of a retro deli. I feel it is important to support Wolfies. The alternative is our local areas will be overrun by dull corporate restaurants. Wolfies is a gem. When you get a hankering for deli meat I suggest that you give it a try.

โ โ โ โ โ I'm so happy I decided to try this place out. It was really good! I ordered a Montreal smoked meat sandwich with hot mustard (they make the hot mustard in-store) with a side of fries. The fries is enough for 2 or 3 people to share! The sandwich was really delicious. Very fulling also. Would recommend asking for a little extra mustard. The customer service was exceptional. Lovely fellows behind the counter. Their personalities are very funny, welcoming and warm! They shared some stories of the celebrities on the wall, which was so fun to hear about. Their cokes come from Mexico and are made with sugar cane. Was an overall great experience. Will be returning again.

โ โ โ โ โ Great deli sandwiches. They have been in the game for a long time, and their food reflects this experience. Highly recommend this place. The staff are extremely friendly. The ambiance is very beautiful as well - all of the walls are covered with antique coke bottles and signs. Do yourself a favour and try this place out.
