About Winnipeg Speech Therapy Clinic
Jenessa works with clients ages 2-10 years old.
Jenessa has practiced publicly and privately in pediatric outpatient settings, early intervention programs, and education settings. Additionally, she has worked in many First Nations communities with Jordan’s Principle. Jenessa works with children and their caregivers utilizing a play-based, family centered approach to target early language development, receptive and expressive language, speech disorders (articulation, phonology, motor speech disorders), and autism.
Jenessa obtained her degree at the University of North Dakota, earning her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a fully registered member with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Manitoba, as well as the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association.

After the assessment, Carolynne showed me where and why my daughter needed speech therapy (and I got a copy of the report to read through later). My little girl loves going to work and learn through games. After going, I asked her if she had fun and she answered, "Ya!" I asked if she'd like to go again and she said, "Yes!" I think half of it is making sure your child likes it and won't fight you in going. Carolynne is friendly and approachable - so important as my daughter is sensitive.
