Very crooked company to deal with. Bought a rebuilt Duramax from them November 2016. Was after christmas it was back on the road and in April 2017 the Oil pump failed. Warranty was declined, they claimed th pump picked up something in the pan that caused a tooth to break off an internal gear on the pump. Hmmmm if that was the case it was left in the pan during their build process. June 20 2018 another oil pump failure appears to be the result of an unbalanced/untrue Crank. Of course they will not warranty in either case their shoddy work so steer clear of these crooks. There are many such stories not posted on here

Tried to get steam holes drilled in a new set of Dart heads and was told they are not interested. I get that it is a small job, however to do it accurately, a drill mill/milling machine is required, which most people don't have at home. I had my engine built there a few (8) years ago and paid more than $6000.00 in parts and labor so to be now told they won't do this really displays their attitude towards customers. Sad.

Going through some issues right now with a 2007 Silverado I purchased about 4 months back. Was having low oil pressure problems, then I got some smoking under the hood shortly after and decided to get a diagnosis. Diagnosis came back from local shop saying I have a head gasket gone (182,000 KM, never overheated in my possession and never added coolant since purchasing) and their recommendation was to replace the engine as irreversible damage had possibly occured. Being that I'm not the type of person that can buy a new truck, new winter tires then toss a new engine in said truck...I had alot of questions to ask and honestly just had no idea of the best way to move forward. I spoke to someone at Winnipeg Engines for approx. 30 minutes right at 5PM (I assume this person was one foot out the door by that point) Now I understand these business DO NOT make their money helping potential customers for free over the phone, but the fact this person was willing to explain things in deep detail to help me understand all my options and possible outcomes from those choices, was simply invaluable and any future dealings with this company will be a direct result of the helpful conversation. This review is not Intended to rate the service from this company because the only dealing we have had were over the phone, instead this review is to highlight the service received prior to any purchasing. I would highly recommend contacting this company if you are in the same position as myself. Thanks again guys!

I ordered a set of powerstroke cylinder heads and the price seems decent. I received them and the first thing I noticed was that the heads were very dirty. They aren't ready to bolt on. They needed to be completely disassembled and cleaned thoroughly first. I then emailed the company letting them know what happened and no response from them. Buyer beware with this company.
