★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Echoing the statements of rudeness, was standing at the edge of the store while trying to figure out what I wanted to get. "UM, SIR? SOCIAL DISTANCING" she bellows, as I am 8 feet away from her.
If you don't like your job, don't take it out on the rest of us, especially when you're standing around talking to 2 other employees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing service and lack of any common sense. My 24 year old daughter stood with me at the grocery check-out in front of the Wine Rack store. I suggested that we get a bottle wine to enjoy with dinner this evening being the Monday of the long weekend. I asked her if she could find a low sugar wine because I am diabetic. She approached the Wine Rack employee and asked her to assist her looking for a low sugar wine for her diabetic father at the check-out. The Wine Rack employee showed her around the store and presented several options that would be diabetic friendly. The employee supplied her a bottle of wine to examine. I finished packing my groceries and walked the 4 steps to their counter to pay for the bottle of wine. When I tried to pay for the wine they said they required my daughters identification because they had presented the bottle of wine to her! She had left her purse and I.D. at home, but I advised that I was purchasing the wine for me. (information they had already been informed of ). The employee refused to let me purchase the bottle of wine and said defiantly "THAT'S THE LAW". I said..."No problem...I will go to the LCBO." She responded in a smug demeanour with a slight smirk.."Too bad, LCBO is closed now". Thanks for nothing Wine Rack!
