Willowdale Pharmacy

Very good pharmacy. They are friendly, kind and helpful. I’ve been coming here for a long time and I am happy with that.

Unlike many of the Canadian pharmacies that share grocery stores and shops and stores, this is the only drug-related product. Instead, the types and quantities of drugs are much higher than others. The distance from the house is also very quick if I use public transportation.

I've been coming here for years. The pharmacists are friendly, efficient and the pharmacy itself is always clean and tidy. They are always willing to help you out should a problem arise. I would and have recommended them.

The pharmacy is good but the medical clinic is really bad because the secretaries that are working there are really awful worst ever seen my life they act really bad and they don’t care about the patients specially they young secretary that she is working there. She is rude unreasonable and disrespectful I hope you don’t go there cause she will act really wired I told her that I forgot to tell something to the doc shakib she said I don’t care and doc is busy I waited there for long with our responding, she is name is yasaman and she is working there

I don’t know about the pharmacy but the medical clinic is just awful. Some of their receptionists are ok but some are really rude. Doctors don’t bother to take some time and explain your matter with you despite their high rates!! Both me and my mom had really bad experiences, won’t go back and recommend everyone not to go to.

They are very friendly, and well organized. I have been taking my medication from this pharmacy for the last 8 years and I always had the best experience

Terrible service. They will switch the medication manufacturer without telling you so you will get chalky pills with terrible taste and say you should take it. I had to get my prescription refilled elsewhere after that stunt. Will not return.

THE WORST PHARMACY EVER. I would rate them 0 if I could. They have uneducated people behind the counter that shouldn't be working in the field at all. The WOMEN behind the pharmacy counter gave me the INCORRECT MEDICATION AFTER I had PRK LASER EYE SURGERY. The male pharmacist and the women even had the audacity to blame me for THEIR error. No apology what so ever, even considering that is my health and eyesight!!! I had to rush to call the emergency doctor after putting the wrong medication in both of my eyes. The medication which turned out to be a NASAL SPRAY. This is absolutely ridiculous as I had called Willowdale Pharmacy ahead of time before making my trip over and spoke directly with the women. I had stated that I had laser eye surgery procedure and wanted to see if the pharmacy had the medication that I needed. As I could not drive and had to uber both there and back home, I wanted to be sure they had it in stock, in which she confirmed that they did have it as she went to check the shelf. I went to pick up the medication and once I arrived, I stated my name and mentioned we had just spoken and she showed me exactly where the medication was. Also, as I had just had the procedure, my vision was blurry so I trusted that she was giving me the correct medication. When I returned home, I rushed to get the drops in and once I applied the medication, I started to feel intense pain. I was horrified once I realized it was nasal spray instead. I called the pharmacy immediately and the same women answered. I told her that it was the wrong medication and all she said was that I could come back to return it. Not even an apology. Once again had to uber back to the pharmacy after I spoke to an emergency doctor that advised me to get my eye checked right away. Once I arrived back at Willowdale pharmacy, I checked the same single shelf where medication was and all of the boxes were HYDRASENSE NASAL SPRAY MEDICATIONS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? From that point she began to say I never told her about my eye surgery and that she's never heard of the medication I was looking for which is literally HYDRASENSE EYE DROPS!!!!. She literally just walked over, read that it said HYDRASENSE on the top of the box somehow that was good enough which is unbelievable. She didn't even bother to make sure it was actually the eyedrops and not the nasal spray. I can infact say 100% that I told her because I wanted to make sure I was getting the correct drops that I was prescribed by the LASIK clinic and I made sure to mention I had the surgery. She kept denying that I mentioned my surgery but even with that logic which is totally false, WHEN DID I MENTION THAT I NEEDED NASAL SPRAY?????? After going back and forth with the male pharmacist who would not even return the nasal spray and said I could not get a refund because the box was opened. Are you kidding me? That was his ONLY concern. He didnt care about the situation, he did not care that they put my eyesight at RISK. Now I could be at risk of infection or WORSE. He did not apologize, he just cared about the box being open so he wouldn't have to refund me. When I told him I would never return, he said "OKAY THAT'S FINE". Absolutely disgusting, no empathy from either of them. Everyone please take your health seriously and visit Shoppers Drug mart instead and deal with real professionals.
