★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check the low tide schedule and enjoy A HUGE BEACHCOMBING AREA.
Unfortunately this beautiful area is NOT easily accessible for people with mobility issues. VERY VERY LONG STEEP SERIES OF STAIRS.
Access to this beach is a bit easier from Wick Road (Wickaninnish Beach).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you take the Willowbrae Trail, it may eventually lead you to Half Moon Beach/Half Moon Bay! I say "may" primarily because 0.75 km into the trail you will approach a fork where to straight ahead is a several sets of stairs praying to a beach but to the left is a relatively flat trail followed by several sets of zig-zagging stair cases that will lead you to Half Moon Beach/Bay! The entire trail is covered underneath the lush forest and surrounded by more bushes than you thought could exist. The great thing is that you cannot hear any traffic or any signs of urban life while on the trail. Enjoy yourself and stay safe! Be sure to pack up your trash and throw it away at the trailhead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the end of Williwbrae trail, it splits to Half Moon Bay on the left and Florencia Bay on the right. Both places were very quite when we visited at the end of July.
