My favorite store, period. Amazing service but more importantly GLUTEN FREE!!! And, so tasty. Cinnamon buns are a staple and I purchase by the dozens... and all the other food is simply amazing!! I would really like to look into franchising into Victoria

What a beautiful market! I am giving the Wild Poppy Market a 5 out of 5! It was nice to see a bird feeder and water dish outside.

So excited about all the gluten free options I got almost one of everything they had! The staff are super friendly and efficient. Highly recommend to those of us who can’t have the glutens and I imagine those that can will still love this place. I tested out the goods on my gluten eating friends and they were also blown away. This is definitely a must visit if you’re on the island.

A little gourmet food shop with a gluten-free bakery, basically. For gluten-free folks, this place ROCKS! The donuts looked amazing, but sadly were not vegan. ? The store has fancy items for the foodie in your life. Nice chocolate, finishing salts, sauces, spreads, etc. Plus organic gluten-free baking essentials, and kitchen staples like rice, etc. Because they're high quality products, the prices are a little higher too. But definitely reasonable for what you get! The day we visited there were not many vegan options, but I will try again soon.

A truly beloved gluten free bakery! A celiac friend of mine was willing to drive hours out of her way for it. As a non celiac, can say that the treats were delicious. The bread is so good that it totally sold out.

I buy lunch here almost every workday due to the fresh tasty food and great prices. I eat gluten-free and this is the best place in town for selection. Their cupcakes are really, really amazing. My coworkers got to try some for my birthday and they couldn't tell they were gluten-free ? I recommend the beef lasagna, sandwiches and the lunch bowls. There's something for everyone.

I have restrictive diet because of health problems. I was almost in tears coming into your shop. It has been a long time since I could have a proper fluffy scone. The scone was still warm. It was moist, soft and beautiful rise to it with a nice crust. I ve been slowly nibbling on it all day savoring it. I have yet to try the muffin. It looks delectable. I got a naniamo bar for a friend. The market had a nice variety of products including salt spring islands soya nova tofu. I can't wait to make salad rolls tonight. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is the absolute best gluten free bakery I have ever tried. I have been celiac for 10+ years and I LOVE baked goods. I live in Victoria, but I stopped at Wild Poppy Market on a trip up island. I got a box of a variety of goods (muffins, squares, cinnamon buns, scones, doughnuts, tarts), and everything was delicious. The cinnamon buns were to die for! I was a bit hesitant as they do not have icing and I love a good cream cheese icing, but the filling is so gooey and moist...they are the best. If I could give more than 5 stars I would - the bakery will be a MUST on every trip up island.
