Our pasta is made in-house, the traditional way, by extracting it through a bronze die. Pasta made in this fashion has a characteristic and highly prized yellow colour and a more pourous surface that helps the noodle retain sauces better than other style of pasta making. Try ours in any of our pasta offerings or purchase some to take home at Maltese Grocery.

β β β β β This was my first post Covid dinning experience and I truly enjoyed the rigatoni bolognese dish. Found the neat sauce to be very tasty without adding any heat to spice it up. I like my food a little on the spicy side but not required for this dish. Excellent cappuccino to top off the meal.
Would love to try the other ideas on the menu at another time.

This restaurant may seem a bit out of the way, but don't let that stop you from enjoying one of the best dining experiences Thunder Bay has to offer.

β β β β β Best dining experience I've had, my wife and I will remember this anniversary date for the rest of our lives. Our server Tyler was excellent, very passionate about food, and it was a pleasure to be served by him. The food was perfect, we ate the duck breast, and the antipasti appetizer, and was a very private experience to share the special day with my wife. Thank you so much Giorg Cucina e Barra staff.

Was recommended an appetizer and main and they were amazing.
The food was on point, the atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic.

β β β β β Friday night I had the pleasure of celebrating my 30th birthday at Giorg. We had a reservation for about 30 people. Staff was amazing, atmosphere was perfect and the foodβ¦ WOW! I had Selected a prefixed menu and I will be dreaming of that pasta for weeks, so tasty!!!! Everything was perfect. Thank you to all the great staff that worked that night.

β β β β β My wife and I went here for a nice Italian dinner, and the service and food were exceptional. We shared a starter, a salad, a pasta special, and the rack of lamb and then had some room for desserts and coffee/tea. The house pinot grigio was very nice too. We highly recommend Giorg Cucina e Barra in Thunder Bay.
