Kathy Skirving managed the previous soup/sandwich/salad shop onsite for over 12 years before the owners retired. The owners acknowledged Kathy’s commitment to the business and asked her to take over the lease for their franchise. Kathy decided she didn’t want the franchise but did want to open her own similar business on the same spot. So, she took over the lease and changed the name while still applying the quality approach to service and products.
Twenty four years later, Crock-N-Dial is known for supplying Thunder Bay businesses and community members with fresh and healthy comfort food.
What you need to know about our cook:
She’s awesome! Our cook has been with us for 20 years and is personally dedicated to providing each person with a flavorful experience he or she will remember long after the last morsel is consumed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't like the fact that she made my sandwich without using any gloves. Dipping her hands into my lettuce and all over my cucumbers and tomato and then the lunch meat. Did she wash her hands after she took my dollar bills? did she wash her hands after she touched the meat and then went back to the lettuce?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greek salad was put together with all fresh ingredients. Their housemade dressing was awesome. Best greek salad I've had in Thunder Bay. The deluxe grilled cheese was flavourful aswell filled with healthy ingredients that all fit in it. One of Thunder Bays "gems". I am astoniahed. I got a healthy, flavouful, forfilling feast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this local family run business. They have unique sandwich styles and delicious soups. When I use to work in the area? It was my number 1 lunch choice to go to. Even now, when a get a chance I like to go there for a bite.
The cajun chicken sandwich is super delicious and very filling. Definitely a place to try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Congratulations on 25 yrs. May be a little bias because I was one of the OG employees @ Crock-N-Dial. But the food and service is still just as good as it was 25 yrs ago. If you are looking for Fresh food, great value for your $$ make sure to stop in and grab some great food! I'd recommend the clubhouse!
