★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great little place that's hidden out of sight. Tons of used books and on the other side you can play all sort of games (magic, yugioh). They are encouraging to younger children too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to use this place all the time for used books. But since the new owners took over about 20 years ago the place went downhill. The new owners arent very nice and dont have important information on new games nor do they have the games ready on the day the game was supposed to come out. Customer service definitely took a dive. The only nice person there is the nice elderly lady who seems to own the place. But wont go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been a customer of The Bookshelf for nearly 30 years and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store always organized, clean, and well stocked. As its almost entirely a used bookstore, you won't find new releases and best sellers are often in and out quickly. For classics, old favorites, and books that were hot just a few weeks ago; you can count on finding something great to read.
Books in lightly used condition are good for store credit (I think its still 25% cover price), and books purchased there are always returnable under the same conditions. Definitely the local Mecca for avid, spendthrifty readers.

pet friendly as well :):):) i was allowed to bring my dog in while I perused the selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 1st time in the new location. Good job! Well organized but may I suggest some improvements to the lighting? A few corners were really dark and it was hard to see the titles.
Great selection though and the staff was very helpful.
