★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was comparing prices at various stores in Edmonton for sunflower seeds, peanuts, and corn, and decided to purchase an annual membership at Wild Birds Unlimited for $25 due to the 15% discount provided on purchases. I placed an online order for over $200 worth of peanuts for my first purchase. I was immediately rewarded with a $10 gift card! The next morning, I was contacted by phone from store staff, and informed that better pricing was available on bulk sizes of peanuts. I mean, what store calls you to tell you that you can save money??? This immediately impressed me, and the savings were nearly $40, which I then spent on purchases in-store when I picked up the peanuts. I realize that some products are priced a bit higher than other local stores, but I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses that provide exceptional customer service, and the young man at this store deserves a pat on the back for providing exactly that!!! Both staff members in store were extremely friendly, knowledgable, and helpful, and I left the store feeling completely satisfied with my purchases of peanuts, corn, a peanut holder feeder, and a corncob holder feeder. Thanks guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We shop here a lot, our wild birds are fed very well. That being said we were not happy with the last bag of mixed nuts. The bag was over 50 percent almonds. No one eats them, not even the squirrels. Expensive lesson learned. :(

For such a small store, they have everything you could need or want to take care of your backyard friends. Feed, feeders, stands, gifts and more. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very friendly and knowledgeable wild bird shop. As their name says, they're mostly for wild birds outdoors. As I came in I was greeted by a fine gentleman who asked me for my needs. I was looking for a bird feeder that would have spills contained. I had problems with my old feeder where there were lots of bird seeds that fell on the ground and attracted mice outside. He told me about my options and another guy, Ethan, showed them to me. Ethan is very friendly and passionate about wild birds. He even offered to take me for some bird watching here in Alberta as I had a bird watching tour in Newfoundland and loved it. So I got 3 different no mess stackable bird seeds to attract more varieties of wild birds and a beautiful lantern feeder. They even have discounts and I got a free bag of seeds and a free WBU bag to carry all my stuff. Now I see lots of birds visiting my balcony again and no more mice!

I got a nice recommendation on a feeder based off where I live in the city and the bird feeder has been a hit! Definitely will be coming back!

I was greeted when I walked in and assisted through my selection of feeder and had all my questions answered. I signed up into their club as well. I was very pleased with the service and expertise. I am proud to support a local franchise owner. I will definitely be back.
