★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poked around in here for a bit, didnt end up buying anything but the selection of beads and beading materials is massive. The soapstone carving in the Corning is fun as well. I definatly felt it's a bead store with some other stuff though which I dont feel is what they advertise as. Overall really cool place though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entire store has a "we just moved here and we will put this stuff here for now until we can get to it later" sort of feel. Mentioned to a couple clerks that prices are higher in store, one of them acted like I wasn't even there and the other made excuses that prices recently changed so that must be why. Apparently it's easier to print a new sign, laminate it and then post it in the store than to login and change a single number on the website, go figure! Got to counter to pay and was met with a suspicious look, the cashier started inspecting my choice of purchase. I mentioned that it came from the discount bin and was told that my choice of size was suspicious as they don't usually sell them this big lol, ok how is this my problem exactly, what an odd thing to say to a customer. First impressions and all, this place is not interested in my business and the price baiting was off putting to be honest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've taken several courses here and Andrea is a fantastic instructor. I have no idea what I'm doing and the torches scare me but even then, Andrea has been able to guide me through actually creating things without burning myself to death. Highly recommended you take classes here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bedrock is an absolute gem for all of your jewelry making, lampwork and lapidary needs. Just walking in the door causes creative urges. The folks there are marvellous, very helpful and knowledgeable. They freely give out tips, advice and can help you pick the perfect supplies for your project. They also offer classes in their onsite studio of which I have greatly enjoyed!!! Highly recommended!!!
