★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely LOVE this store because of the great quality food and the owner, Tammy. One of the most pleasant people I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Her knowledge about birds and their needs is phenomenal. I would HIGHLY recommend this store. First class all the way. Ingredients in the food are second to none and my little visitors love it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this store for the very first time this week. Was thrilled to be able to bring my dog into the store and had a friendly greeting from the store's tail wagging mascot! At first glance it looked to be a store tailored for experienced bird feeders but as a beginner myself I was given a educated introduction from the friendly staff and introduced to some introductory items that were suitable to my needs. This store has definitely peaked my interest in the world of bird watching/feeding and I will definitely be going back!

We are happy with the new bird house and feed we bought. Great looking store too! Never thought I'd see another grain elevator in Edmonton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store for everything wild birds - from seed to homes/feeders to baths, this store has it all. Even locally made items. Owner was fantastic and very friendly. The star of the show is their chocolate lab Waylon who is definitely under paid! Would highly recommend - prices are comparable to big box stores but this place has greater quality selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of Bird Baths, food and feeders.... Super helpful staff! and a nice friendly shop dog ? (Waylon).
I picked out a heated bird ? bath, a suet feeder, suet cake, and some locally sourced wild bird food.
I highly recommend you check out and support this local Edmonton business. Enjoy your visit.
There is plenty of parking and good bike lockup too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drive by Urban Bird nearly everyday and finally had time to go inside today to check it out. What a positive experience! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. There are LOTS of unique products in the store, even aside from birdseed and feeders etc. There is a live cam of bird feeders behind the desk, which I think is just the coolest touch. Lots of action on it while we were in the store. I was also impressed with the level of customer service. My 4 year old daughter was with me, and the staff working were very sweet in attempting to keep her occupied while I looked around. A couple extra bonuses for me would be that there is lots of (free) parking, they have a point reward system, and the location is great! I will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Need bird feed then this is the place for you. My wife and I came here to see a kestrel hawk that the store had brought in for viewing on a Saturday afternoon. That’s what drew us here but once in the store we were very impressed with the experience. The staff are friendly and courteous and very knowledgeable about their products. We enjoyed ourselves and definitely will return. The prices are reasonable and the store is clean and well lit.
