This law firm specializes in taking advantage of anyone who isn't learned enough to know it. They are unresponsive, defiant of Canadian law, operate illegally while committing theft, breaking Law Society rules and taking clients funds from trust accounts without permission. Then use family members to help boost google ratings? Really? A member of the "El-Khatib" family left a review 9 months prior to this review. The firm has zero attention to detail, high turnover, and are brazen enough to not care. The staff of this law firm is so impolite and lazy. They only care about how much can charge you hourly more than your legal matters. My case is very complicated. I asked if I can drop offmy story and all related documents to the office and the staff told me okay. However their responses were always late, usually more than 2 weeks. Then they sent me an email to inform me they are not going to review my binder because it is more than 15 pages or I need to pay extra charges. I replied to them there is a subsection in my binder where there is a label wrote aside "Timeline", all information to complete the legal letter I request them to write for me is there and it is no more than 15 pages. The staff answered me 4 days after that she is not going to review my binder. The staff demanded me to rewrite my case within 15 pages with the format provided. The staff in the email quote numerous member rules to me to explain the reason. I can't believe such a lazy bone person could survive in legal field. I asked her to scan over my binder to understand what inside, not asking her to read ogr review. She screwed up the meaning among scan, read, and review. Furthermore, I have already indicated where to look up the material she needed. The staff ignored all my words and just simply by looking at the thickness of my binder. Such a person who easily make decision by trusting the surface look without having an overall understanding the content. I really suspect a person with this working attitude can handle my case well enough. And the value of this firm is so materialistic. I would question how much efforts and details the staffs can perform to involve on my problem. So I am not recommend other to seek legal help from this legal firm based on my experience to this firm.

The Partners and lawyers are the most unethical people you will ever meet. Their advice is very poor and they take monies from your account without permission/agreement. Do not use this firm it’s a disgrace.

I worked with Niaz Arbabi for over 2 years, and she finalized my very complicated and emotionally strained divorce, involving custody, finances, and child protection. I got everything I wanted out of my separation, including custody arrangements, financial support, and division of family assets. I avoided having to go through a horrific trial, by way of a well constructed, and excellently worded final consent order, that left no holes, and was exactly what I hoped for. Thanks to her and her incredible work ethic, knowledge, and caring attitude, my son and I are safe, and we were able to confidently move on with our lives, and close a nightmarish chapter, leaving the past behind us. I owe her a great deal. I highly recommend Niaz for any and all legal needs. I felt heard, and felt like my rights and the rights of my child were in good hands.

These guys are straight up professionals, I was literally guilty of an excessive speeding ticket, yet in 30 minutes I walked out of the courtroom with no money owing. Literally pulled a rabbit out of their hat, I kept my license and most of all I kept my money. Their rates are extremely reasonable for the lengths they go to. I should be riding a bus right now, but thankfully I'm still cruising in my own four wheels, just a little slower now!

Truly do not recommend hiring anyone within this law group. Sure, they have some positive reviews from family members of employees. Check the last names for yourself against their staff directory or former staff. I am not simply a disgruntled former client, I am warning you. Some partners in this firm are no more than outright opportunists with enough positional power to manipulate the “regulators” around them, despite mounting issues. It’s your life and you can absolutely choose to risk your matter with them, I just hope that I save you the extreme trouble and pain I endured, despite my efforts and actions to avoid such. No amount of prestige or fancy office space or longevity in the field could cover up the purposeful disrespect and negligent results I experienced. In my opinion, you would be handing your matter to the devil himself to choose this firm. If negative reviews were a possibility, I would rate them accordingly.
