Confusion at intercom. Got there 3o min early and she said to come back. Property run down and out of date. At least our condo was. Not sure I'd recommend it

From the moment you arrive, the staff are rude and uninviting. The room felt as if I was staying in a Motel 6. On my first night there, I slipped on the ice in the village and my key fob must’ve fallen out of my pocket. I called for a replacement and without telling me that there would be a cost involved, I was charged $160 CAD on my account which didn’t even come through until I was already back home. Unreal. Stay far, far away!

Would give a lower review if I could. Had to cancel the booking because the entire group wasn't over 25. This fact was not made clear to us at all when we were booking and when we realised we rang up to cancel but they were extremely rude, hard to contact, refused to give us back the deposit and tried to get us to pay the remaining balance. I would highly recommend looking at other places as the staff are not good to deal with and aren't understanding or accommodating at all.

We recently held a family reunion here at Whistler Retreats in August. That's a risky thing to do because in a large group, there are a lot of people to please. In the end, it was a huge success. The rooms were a great size for all the separate families; it kept us close, but not too close. There are so many events going on in the area to keep people entertained, not to mention nice walks and lakesides for people that aren't interested in events. Tons of beguiling restaurants but also a large IGA for those that want to make their own dinner and host a dinner party in their room. It can be an expensive trip or not depending on what you do with your time, but you can get creative in both scenarios. Had a great time and I would love to do it again. Heyoo!

Utterly inflexible and rude. Booked quiet far in advance and due to a change in circumstances had to cancel with over 100 days notice. Whistler Retreats charged one day + resort fee for the entire stay. Fair enough if that is their policy, but the policy is a poor one and shows greed and lack of compassion. Reccomend booking with another company if you can!

We stayed at Marketplace Lodge which was a great location for the Village, and a 10 min walk to the chairlift. It was the best price we could find in Whistler and was surprisingly high quality accommodation. Hot-tub in the building too! Standard situation for Whistler - property management company that has properties all over town, so check-in etc can be a bit disjointed. But the staff made everything clear at the point of booking and were very helpful at check-in. If you've been to Whistler before you'll know what to expect, and this was by far the best value I've experienced there. Will be using them again for sure

This is our families 3rd year in a row staying in the Mountain star condos. The two previous stays were great, no complaints. As for mountain star number 15 it was very displeasing and we will be considering other options next year. For starters the downstairs bathroom toilet wasn't cleaned, also the bathroom fan didn't work. There were numerous light bulbs out, one being the master closet. Looking through the guest book in May the people that stayed there noted light bulbs being out as well and 9 months later still same issues. Bedroom pillows were also horrible! Microwave control panel was no longer connected to the microwave just kind of flopping around. The fridge ice/water machine doesn't work. Which we found out that it has been that way for 5 years. Kitchen faucet leaks unless you have it in an exact position. As we choose to overlook these problems and enjoy our vacation, the big problem occurred when we GOT IN the hot tub and noticed that it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a really long time. If I can post the pictures I will. Absolutely disgusting water was murky, you could see the grim and hair along the hot tubs wall surround. Just to top it off the refrigerator went out on our the last day, luckily we noticed before our food that we bought went bad. Although management fixed the piddly things replaced lights bulbs, used a framing screw to attach the microwave control panel, cleaned the bathroom, dumped the hot water cleaned and refilled. It did us no good as it wasn't usable for us. Having a private hot tub is one of the reasons we choose to stay in a condo vs hotel. Our four day stay was very disappointing this year and will have us looking at other places to stay for next year. A simple sorry isn't good enough for the inconveniences we dealt with.

Had a horrible experience with this management company in January 2022. I stayed with them in the past and had a great experience however this year they must be under new management as every aspect about renting through them was disappointing. Firstly I had a unit booked two years ago and was unable to travel to Canada from the USA due to the boarder being closed. They would not allow me to cancel and refund the reservation, only move it back a year. Upon check in I never received any communication on how to access the unit. Had to call many times to try to get a code to access the unit. When arriving the unit smelled like a forest fire as the oven cleaning mechanism was on, with all windows in the unit open and freezing inside. The unit was very small and not clean or up to date. Hairs in the beds, the sinks and toilets rims. The complex had zero parking spots available on two evenings and I had to pay to park at a garage 1 mile in town and walk back. The complex had zero snow and ice removal and almost fell every time while leaving the unit when not in ski boots. The trash bins were in on central location in the parking deck which was extremely far from my unit and basically treacherous due to the lack of shoveling and ice removal. The two bedroom unit was made for two guests, not four as it advertises. Small rooms, shawty beds, and no storage space for clothes and luggage.
