Update to my 5 star review: I booked this cabin for one week, my children and family had an EXCELLENT time. It was empty the first few days and of course a bit rainy and chilly, we were fine with that. We also understood all COVID restrictions, but felt as they could put more effort into making it more themed. I visited all the time as a child this is my favorite place . The staff were very friendly at first but as we stayed longer it decreased, as more people showed up we felt very pushed out. We found two of the male workers to be very rude and not understanding. I am not sure why this happened and I am very disappointed and was left with no explanation. I do not think me and my family will be visiting here again, I feel like the atmosphere has changed and the people who are working there are not very pleasant. I feel terrible leaving a bad review but I did not leave there feeling satisfied. We are avid campers and outdoor people, and have visited many other campgrounds, we know a new family took over the company a few years ago... and I bet they are still learning (Hopefully this review can help them understand more of what happening) Although we had a wonderful vacation. If anyone has more questions please reply to me and I can add more of a detailed response. Thanks for reading~~

I'm not much of a camper but was convinced to stay in a bunkie, which I never even heard of before! The bunkie was small for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), but we were all able to fit on the two bunk beds. Had no problem with the cleanliness of the site and we gave it our own little wipe down when we got there regardless. There was a tragic accident the weekend we were there, but Sarah was so helpful in discussion our options with our visit to the theme park and any other questions we had. By the end of our stay, I started to really enjoy it and I felt a warmth there. The showers were alright, my only complaint would be the washrooms. I know there's a lot of people in and out of there, so it's hard to keep it clean, but it didn't smell great in there. I mean, it is what it is considering you're camping, so I guess it's about the norm. All in all, I'd bring the family again to stay!

We booked camp site #28. Upon arrival we found it was not okay or flat enough someone could sleep. There were bumps/puddles and roots of pine trees underneath. We spent 3 nights over there and our back were hurt so bad. The bathrooms were clean, but the washroom were stinky I guess with lots of people coming in it’s hard to maintain the cleanliness but this is something they should take care of. Firewood’s are pricey too. Sarah and Kevin were very helpful and friendly during our visit. But sadly, we witnessed some unfortunate events where an individual who was swimming in river just across the campground was lost. I’d suggest anyone who’s going here, please ask for life jackets and safety supplies. Furthermore, there are so many adventurous activities in Santa’s village for kids as well as adults. I’d be visiting them again, if I get chance !

It's an ok campground that they keep pretty clean. Obviously the proximity to the park can't be beat. Unfortunately if your not planning on going inside Santa's village, there isn't much to do. The pool was booked up even though we stayed Wed-Sat. Only time we were able to get in was on Friday when everyone seemed to leave but before the weekenders arrived. Playground was a decent size though. With a large travel trailer, the sites at the very back would seem to be the best for stays alone (even with the premium price tag) while the front sites are great with a group. Tent sites or pop up trailer sites actually seem to be the best in this park.

Amazing campground. Staff were helpful and super friendly. Camp ground is family friendly, with Santa's Village literally across the road. Sites are well kept and clean. If you don't tent or have a trailer, no worries, lots of cabins to rent. We are already planning our next visit. Don't forget to check their weekly themes to increase the fun.

I had a fantastic stay, the park is clean the sites are easily marked. The staff all around were great especially the after hours crew who was so kind to get us wood on multiple nights. The facilities were clean but to say the front washroom were much cleaner and better worth the walk to it. It wasn't over crowded and there is something for everyone I would go back but next time I wanna check out one of their little cottages. We had a great stay despite the rain and thanks again to the staff for being helpful and available ??

This place is an excellent campground to bring your family. It is very shaded with all the pine trees, but also has plenty of open areas to play volleyball, soccer etc. Unfortunately we needed to book pool time, and we're only allotted 45 min, but the river across the road was a great alternative. We stayed in a smaller 2 story cabin, and it was plenty big for a family of 4. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere all around. We will definitely return in the future.

The Whispering Pines Campground is across the street from Santa's Village theme park. We stayed two nights at this campground during the opening long weekend. The public washrooms are clean with toilets, urinals and wash basins. There are no public showers. There is a playground and an outdated outdoor swimming pool that wasn't opened. The office has limited supplies that you can purchase such as firewood, buns, bread, marshmallows etc. And you can rent kayaks and canoes which are across the street on the river. Those are pros of this campground. Below are the cons of this campground. 1. There are LOTS of large tall pine trees everywhere. It makes maneuvering a large trailer or motorhome extremely difficult. We were told someone damaged their RV by colliding with the corner of a building. 2. The only waste discharge station is located behind the camp office with lots of buildings and pine trees nearby. This makes getting the trailer into the station challenging. 3. The electric sites only have one specific amperage. We had a pull through lot that only had 30 amp. It doesn't have 50 amp. Just be careful when booking the site to make sure you have right electrical connection. 4. There are no 3-way RV sites (I.e electric, waste and fresh water hookups), only two 2-way. Overall the campground is convenient if you are visiting Santa's Village. It offers basic camping needs. But many of the amenities are outdated and could use some TLC.
