Westview Dental Centre - Portage la Prairie

Absoulty horrible receptionist ended up going somewhere else as she was so snotty towards me on the phone.

Had a cleaning/annual visit at Westview after avoiding dental care due to bad experiences elsewhere. The staff at Westview made my visit pleasant and were very responsive to my concerns. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them!

Dr's are knowledgeable, have your best interest in mind, and are not just out to bill you for unnecessary procedures. What would have made my experience a five star vs. four star is if reception was less abrupt and inclined to point fingers when there is an error in booking appointments. Otherwise I highly recommended this dental centre!

Very friendly, fast and efficient staff. I had a wisdom tooth taken out by Dr Lee. It was out before I knew it. Nothing like the experience I had with my other three wisdom teeth at a different dental office. Great job!

A family member has a phobia that has prevented them from seeing a dentist for over 15 years, but was needing dental attention. When Dr. Lee was made aware of this through amazing Dental Assistant Linda Cornish, she personally called to hear our concerns and talk us through the process/options. An appointment was made for the following week and Dr. Lee was able to help us more than we thought possible. Her care and professionalism Went above and beyond and for that my family is extremely grateful.

Ive got some pretty decent anxiety in regards to dentists. This dentist and her people are kind caring and very gentle and understanding. Ive never left the dentist without dreading having to go back. Or without a lecture from the dentist for having avoided it so long. I got no lecture and tons of compassion and gentleness. While im not looking forward to future dentist appointments my fear and anxiety with going to see dr lee is and her team alot more diminished. I didnt get the hygienists name but she was also super duper wonderful and i dont dread going to see her in january for the rest of my cleaning. Thank you.

Dr. Carl Lee: Upon receipt of your letter withdrawing from further professional services as my dentist, I have a few things to say. Right from the get go I found your Receptionist Very Rude and Condescending! She does not possess the basic tools or comprehension to deal with the general public and Lacks any Empathy towards a client's circumstances. This Receptionist has come up in several Reviews (on her Rude Conduct) yet Dr. Lee many continues to employ her, thus perpetuating the problem! I have emailed Dr. Lee many times over the course of our short dentist/client relationship. While most emails are answered, others are Ignored and Devoid of any Response! In regards to her letter withdrawing from further professional services No Explanation is given for her action! I am assuming it is due to my outstanding balance, as I have been respectful towards Dr. Lee and the Receptionist in all my communications with them! While Dr. Lee's work is ok, I have had some work that didn't stand up and needed to be Redone! The incident in question was a tooth that broke off less than a month after it was worked on. I contacted the office and Dr. Lee stated that she "Would Not Fix said tooth till the Outstanding Balance was taken care of"! With that being said, I contacted the Manitoba Dental Association and one of the Wpg Dentist's got in touch with Dr. Lee and she decided Not to Hold my Outstanding Balance Hostage! Dr. Lee, you are doing a Disservice to ALL your Clients by continuing to employ that Receptionist! Dr. Lee read your Reviews and see that one of the common complaints is your frontline person, The Receptionist! Dr. Lee, maybe YOU and your Staff could take some Conflict Resolution Courses to better equiped on dealing with your Client's, The Bread and Butter of your business, if you will! Maybe a little Compassion for people, especially during these difficult times of Covid 19 and fiscal restraint, could be in order? Morally and Ethically what you did to me was Unprofessional and just plain Wrong! Some food for thought?

Dr Kristof is the best! Everytime I have gotten a wisdom tooth out or filling, it’s been totally pain free, fast, and easy. Everyone is so so nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!
