Not very truthful and compassionate dealership. Wouldn't admit any fault in delayment of delivery of the vehicle. Resulting in my business encoring $2000 in extras. Don't believe salesman Kevin Harris on the promises he makes. The GM Mitch Mason didn't seem concerned about the customer even when in the wrong. Aug 26 2019- Monday I arrived at Western Truck & Trailer in NW Edmonton. Identified the truck I wanted to purchase. Myself and Kevin Harris talked about what I needed done extra to the truck before delivery. It was used and Red in colour and I needed it white. So a paint job and a CVIP done. I also explained that I needed it for Sept 6 2019 as I would be using it to start my new business on Monday Sept 9 2019. Mr Harris said "The truck will be ready for pickup on Friday Sept 6 2019, with all extra work done." We agreed on a $1500 down payment, which was paid on Monday Aug 26 2019. Thursday Aug 29 2019 - My Financing was in place and notified Western Truck & Trailer via e-mail that the truck would be paid in full by Sept 4 2019 with a certified bank cheque. Mr Harris informed me the truck would still be ready for pick up on Sept 6 2019 with all extra work completed. Wednesday Sept 4 2019 - I arrived at the dealership to drop off my certified Bank cheque, just like I had said. Mr. Harris informed me that everything was still on schedule for me to pick up the truck on Friday Sept 6 2019. I had come through on my financing side of everything exactly when I had promised, and indicated. Friday Sept 6 2019 - I arrived at the dealership to pickup the truck which was not ready. Mr.Harris continued to inform me that the truck would be ready for Sept 7 2019. The paint job, which was done 3rd party through Western Truck & Trailer, was going to take another day. Saturday Sept 7 2019 - After arriving at the dealership at 11:00am to pickup my truck. I was informed again by Mr.Harris "The truck is still at the paint shop, and when they finish today I will call you immediately. I txt'd him to get an answer, and he messaged that he would call soon. He never again called me that day. Mr.Harris told me that the the truck would be ready for pickup on Saturday Sept 14 2019. Over a week later then the original delivery date. The following week I had to rent a work truck for my business, which cost me $1000. I also had to fly back to Edmonton ($450) on the Saturday Sept 14 2019, as i was no longer in the city. I called the dealership on Wednesday Sept 11 2019 to voice some concern on how this late delivery had cost me and my business money, stress and time. I asked to speak with the GM Mitch Mason. I couldn't believe anything Mr.Harris was telling me. I explained my situation with his salesman and how this problem has cost my business $1450. He listened to my complaints and said he would call the next day with a solution to be compensated. I never heard back. Saturday Sept 14 2019 - I arrived at the dealership at 10:30am to pickup the truck. Mr.Harris was not there. In fact nobody was and I had to find the service employee to find someone to deliver me the keys and paperwork to the truck. Finally a man named Randy Taylor came out of an office. He tossed me a set of keys and said " Kevin said all the paperwork you need is in the truck and here are the keys." He then turned around and went back into his office. I called Mr.Harris with no answer. He later called back while I was unable to answer. Monday Sept 30 2019 - The truck was already broken down with a minor Transmission problem that I had fixed. Cost was $600 for me to repair. When I reached out to Mr.Harris that it was already in for a repair he replied " That's not to bad of a fix" Please look elsewhere for purchasing a commercial vehicle.

I bought a truck from Western Truck and Trailer(WTT), it was a new Fuso FG4x4, the only one available in all of western Canada, I put a deposit on it, flew to Edmonton from the west coast and gave them a bank draft from the major bank in Canada for $63,000+ . I drove towards home in new truck, one hour later a horrible noise came from engine compartment as the truck lost power, couldn’t even hear radio so loud! I immediately stopped and called (WTT) to find out if they knew what it could be, they assured me the truck was running as it should and it was just the a/c or some other benign fan and not to worry. An hour later the fan was cycling on for 1 minute every 5 minutes, by this time I figured out it was an engine fan that was either on 100% or off, this happening while 5 deg Celsius with a cab chassis, no load, no mountains yet either. I knew this was wrong and decided to take the truck back and get my money back, I notified the sales rep Lauren Hall that the truck was a dud and I was returning it. When I got back the mechanic confirmed the truck engine fan was cycling on and off, the head sales manager was trying to make me believe this was normal on a cold day on flat ground with no load. He said too bad if I did not like the truck, but it is what it is and it’s running perfect and sent me away. I came back in morning hoping to talk to owner, Manager once again said no way I was getting my money back. I called the owner Mitch Mason and explained the noise and cycling of engine fan while cold out, he agreed something not right and told me to take truck back . Manager took the keys and sales papers and told me to go and the check would be sent by mail. No return slip, no check, no documentation, no “ sorry about the faulty truck and you came all this way” . I asked for a check to leave with since they deposited my bank draft the day before, these things clear in minutes , I knew they could put a bank draft together for me and we would be done. No, they said it takes 3 business days to clear, I’d have to wait. I felt sick but no choice other that grab an expensive short notice flight back to Vancouver. This company made me wait 8 days before they sent my money back to me, as you can imagine it was a horrific week waiting to find out if this company scammed me. In many was they did, it cost me $2000 in lost wages and expenses for a problem that had nothing to do with me. They never acknowledged the faulty truck and the inconvenience —- get this— when calling the owner about when he would send my check 6 days later he said they were still trying to reprogram the ecu on the truck and for some reason the thermostat would not open the whole way. All the time I was wondering if they were not bright or very shady , it turns out they are both.

These guys are top notch. They hooked us up with a new set of front tires, and an alignment for our big Hino 185. We got a killer deal, and had minimal down time. We then blew a tire on the henday, were able to make it to them, and they had us fixed up in less than 30 minutes, again for a killer deal. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them, especially if you have a fleet of large vehicles!!

I bought a F-750 service truck from Kevin and he was easy to deal with and a man of his word. When buying i had alot of things going on trying to set up for the new job. I trusted his word on their "not an as is dealer." When i had some issues i treated him and the staff with respect and gave them a list. They worked with me on my schedule and never left me high and dry. I had them do extra work i wanted done and they had reasonable pricing and times on. They came to the table on alot of things and i was glad to give them my extra business on whole new set of tires and many additions. They most importantly never had to ask me to miss work because of a delay. They met time lines and short notice. They worked with very difficult suppliers and im still in business without missing a day of work. Although im a mechanic, im a dad and husband on my days off and this is my edmonton garage. I'll be coming back to them for any work or trucks i need to buy. Thanks Kevin, Rob, Jermey, Tanya, Rick, Jordan and Randy. Trainor Heavy Equipment Services.

Very Bad Experience I have to give one star as without that I am unable to post my review We left our truck there for repair, they checked and confirmed on telephone that there will be cost of $500 and it will take 3 hours and you can picked up the truck after 3 hours, we agreed for the same. After 3 hours they called again and said you need to pay $1200 more there is some other problem and it will again take 2-3 hours. we agreed for the same. when we picked up the truck after paying $1800 to them, truck just run 20 km and we face the same problem again. They don't have well trained staff, even they don't know the problem, they just tried to solve the problem without any experience. I just flushed $1800 at there location My suggestion don't go there to repair your trucks
