About Fleet Brake Parts & Service Limited

The history of our business goes back to 1914 when Henry McCoy moved to Edmonton from Montreal and opened a blacksmith shop in downtown Edmonton. In 1923, the advent of the Model T coupled with Alberta's rough roads provided Henry with the inspiration and opportunity to open a spring manufacture and repair business. The original family carried on the business of providing heavy-duty truck services for the next 88 years. In 1978, Fleet Brake was created by the Bzeta family and over the next several decades, parts sales, truck service repair and maintenance operations were expanded both geographically and in product offerings. In 2011, the Real McCoy Service Centres was acquired by Fleet Brake. With a century old legacy of serving the commercial vehicle business, Fleet Brake is positioned well for the next 100 years

Was traveling from Vancouver across country and had a few problems with our RV. The guys were great! Got us in on a Friday afternoon and had everything fixed by suppertime. RJ stayed a little late to finish everything up. The service amd communication was excellent. On to our next destination!

We have had nothing but good experiences with these guys. They are friendly and good at their job. Also, the pricing is WAY better than even Ft. Garry... and the customer service is 1000% better. Very happy to have found them!

What a rip off place... got charged 8 hrs labour ( complained and they knocked off 2 hours) to do one...that’s right one brake ( shoes, cam and bushings, new spider) sooooo that would be 12 hours ( at the reduced hours lmao) per axel!!! Good thing I didn’t take my 9 axel low bed in there. So I guess they are 4 hours short of a 40 hr work week to do a tridem trailer. 740 in labour to do one brake in a brake shop! I will never darken their door again. BE WARNED!

Helped me out, our trailer was broke on side of the road. They went out of their way to cross reference parts to get me what we needed to get back on the road!

I just had a conversation with Lorne at Fleet and he took the time on the phone to carefully guide me as to what I need to do to fix my boat trailer brakes. Very helpful, professional and friendly. Once I have the part numbers off of my trailer, I will be sure to do business with Fleet.
