★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dont go to western license. This place has the worst staff of any business in Lethbridge. These are the most useless bunch of overweight slobs who can't figure out how to do the most basic registry service. Not sure how this place even stays open with such ignorant people standing around there all day pretending to work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to get my Class 4 licence driving test here, and the corrupt examiner failed me twice for asidine garbage like "Slowing down a little to much before entering the turn lane" or "Not using the parking lane appropriately during a right turn" I don't know if he treats everyone like this or just low-income Native Americans. He was marking me like -80 which is 30 points past a fail. I decided to go to another registry and passed easily with a -15.
If you want a fair road test I would definitely suggest using another registry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ went for my class 5 basic road test today; tester automatic failed me because i decided to be cautious at the intersection, 2 cars on the other side weren't going to stop nor slow down so i couldn't go, by the time i could, the light turned red then i quickly went because those cars stopped finally and i had to go since i couldn't wait at the intersection, and he said i waited too long. OK. next time i'll just go and get us both killed :) also marked me on something he didn't even know what it was, and he had to ask me and of course i didn't know since he didn't say anything then. he couldn't tell me what to do at the intersection if the same thing happened again next time, very rude & not fair. also for parallel parking, i knew exactly how close to get beside the vehicle because it was the same vehicle i practiced behind before the test, tester pushed the wheel away saying: too close you almost took off his mirror (not true at all), also i was going a tiny bit under the limit at this super packed playground zone full of kids and tester said i was going waaaaaaaay too slow. he was looking for ways to fail me then to make more money off me. sorry, not worth it unless it's another tester (not the one that wears a leather jacket, don't know if we're allowed to say names here but his name starts with J, do not go with him, ever, he will find ways to fail you). sorry but you're looking at paying 180 if not 270 (and depends on his mood maybe you'll have to pay for more) just to pass this basic road test.
