CORNELL FRIESEN, FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

At age 21, Cornell started his passion for Residential New Home and Commercial Construction.  During this time with his major focus as New Home Builder, he also built a Financial Institution including Vault, Hospital, various Shop/Office Buildings, and worked in collaboration with Univ. of Saskatchewan building State of the Art Agricultural Structures.  He was also Project Manager for substantial renovations of a 77,000 sq. ft. Telecommunications Building. 

In addition to 34 years in Construction, Cornell has 10 years experience in Real Estate, Land Development, and Contract Negotiations for a major Communications Corporation. He has successfully managed a large Agricultural Enterprise and served many years volunteering on local boards and committees.

Cornell’s family is of great importance to him and includes his wife Darlene, 3 sons, Joel, Avery, Colin (Trina) and grandson Samson. Cornell has lived in Lethbridge for 25 years, and enjoys the local culture and people. He especially appreciates the close proximity to the mountains and exploring them.

DARLENE FRIESEN, DECORATOR AND OFFICE MANAGER

Darlene was raised in a prominent Contractors home in Lethbridge, therefore she understands and appreciates all aspects of the building process. She has experience in Mortgage Financing, various Professional Businesses, and assisted Cornell in Real Estate and Land Development. She is the key element between the Client and Project Manager in the decorating process, keeping this smooth and stress free.  Darlene is extremely organized, creative, artistic, and experienced.

Her extensive research thru travel and study of exterior and interior home design, in addition to 30 years decorating experience has earned the respect of her colleagues as a very creative, innovative and tasteful decorator.  Darlene’s decorating style is inspired by a love of color, nature and creating an elegant warm atmosphere.  Her passion is to assist, affirm, and encourage her clients to express their own personal style whatever that may be. 

Darlene has served many years volunteering on local boards and committees. In her spare time enjoys family, music, and exploring mountains with Cornell. 

JOEL FRIESEN, PROJECT MANAGER 

Joel has worked for Castle Rock in Project Management and Quality Control for 9 years.  His ability to lead along with his can-do attitude makes him a perfect match for his position. He has obtained his Business Administration/Management Certificate with Honors.

Joel has worked alongside his Father in various construction and business ventures and always strives for excellence throughout the building process. In addition, Joel has built 2 homes of his own, giving him a strong knowledge of the building process, which is invaluable to Castle Rock.  Joel’s hobbies include anything with a throttle.

AVERY FRIESEN, ON-SITE CONSTRUCTION AND DRAFTSMAN

Avery works in collaboration with our exclusive Castle Rock Designer who has 35 years experience with Award Winning Projects throughout North America. Avery’s experience includes 10 years in both construction, and Drafting and Design. He excelled in his Drafting and Design Course, and has worked exclusively for Castle Rock for 6 years. Avery is an excellent and meticulous carpenter with a very artistic eye for detail. Avery has also worked alongside his father in various construction and business ventures. His knowledge of home construction and strong interpersonal skills make him integral in our working relations with clients. Avery’s hobbies include fishing, music, and the arts.

COLIN FRIESEN, HOME AUDIO CONTRACTOR

Castle Rock’s Custom home audio and home theatre system contractor.  Colin meets with clients and establishes as minimal or extensive complete audio and home theatre system package as desired.  Colin has worked alongside his Father in multiple Business Enterprises.
