Western RV Country Okotoks - Aldersyde

My husband and I just purchased a new trailer from here and truly had the most amazing experience throughout the entire process from the Brittany at the front desk, to Kevin doing the final walk through. Every staff member made us feel so welcome, and treated us with respect and kindness. We originally were looking at used trailers and Dale provided his education and knowledge on how to detect any problems or history of damages knowing we were shopping at other places and wanted us to get something safe. When we decided to buy new Dale genuinely cared about finding a trailer that would be perfect for our growing family for the long term without any pressure to purchase. When we found the trailer we loved, Dale even gave us his contact information to call if we had any questions regarding the trailer when we take it out. It was was evident he has a strong passion in this industry. Going over finance information with Chris was a streamline process, and again he provided so much education for us beyond information relating to the trailer. Paul, the sales manager was always present in the store and available for questions. I only have great things to say about this WesternRV location

Top notch and over the top accommodating staff! We had spent nearly 5 hours picking out "The Trailer". Our Sales Rep. Greg wasn't at all pushy and gave an honest review or answers to any and all questions we had. When we finally picked one, it was purchased 5 minutes before we got the official sale. Feeling defeated, we looked at available inventory online. While luck had it, something caught our eye in the Airdrie store. Simple phone call and text to our fantastic Sales Rep. Greg, he jumped on the horn and the trailer was brought down quickly, and seamlessly threw the shop for some minor details. Chris patched up the financing for us, and worked smoothly with us to button up the details on our end. We've now had the trailer for a month, everything works, no issues and has been a great addition. Couldn't be any happier with our purchase and the team at Western RV in Aldersyde. A big thanks to Paul for making the extra mile for some very satisfied customers.

We really enjoyed our experience at Western RV. From our salesperson to the manager, the finance guy and service. They all went out of their way to get our used unit into great condition. Bruce, in service spent 2 hours on our walk through answering our many questions and teaching us all we needed to know with this awesome unit. We take delivery on Friday and we absolutely can’t wait! Was at this location to pick up a blower motor for my rv, which should have been a simple enough transaction. I was “helped” by Cheryl and absolutely appalled by both her costumer service and the way she treated the young lady that initially began my service and whom I would have preferred to continue with had this woman not bulldozed in on us. Rude, snarky, and arrogant would be an understatement. I feel bad for those who have to deal with this woman on a daily basis. I’ll be driving the extra 15 min to high river from now on.

Beware of inspection? My experience with western RV 2015 shadow cruiser 225rbs I first saw the listing for this trailer at Western RV in Leduc. I had communication with Dennis. He told us the trailer had a leak, the bubble on side wall remained but trailer had been repaired. We spoke of the 112 point inspection you could purchase, but he couldn’t supply a list of what was checked, just said they “knew what to look for”. At this point we stopped dealing with him as we didn’t feel comfortable proceeding without proof of what an inspection included. The trailer was moved to Okotoks. We called and spoke to Connie, who assured us if we decided to buy and pay for inspection there would be a paper copy of inspection. We were told there had been $6000 in repairs and it was good to go. We decided to purchase the trailer, and paid for the inspection to be done. We confirmed 3 days before pick up everything was inspected and ready. On arrival Jerry walked us thru the trailer. He was very pushy to get the trailer hooked up, and us out of the shop. Even though there were two issues with the trailer we wanted to discuss before we agreed to take it. Also, the inspection sheet was not available, we were told it was “locked in the shop”, and they would have to wait till Monday to get it to us. The manager Paul spoke with us and agreed to address our concerns, and assured us we would get a copy of the inspection Monday. We also asked Paul to have the roof double checked and confirm that the bubble on sidewall had been repaired and would cause no further issues. He did look into it and called back to say that the moisture level in the trailer was high and there was more damage to repair. It would take 3 weeks to dry the trailer and repair. He said he wasn’t comfortable with selling us the trailer and cancelled the deal (which I appreciated) my issue was that we had paid for an inspection, told it was done, but not provided the inspection sheet. A proper inspection would have shown that there was further damage that would require thousands of dollars to repair. 4 days I noticed western RV in Lethbridge has the trailer listed for sale. Same VIN on ad. The bubble remains, listed for the same price. When called regarding the trailer, and asked it there was any damage, was told “it looks great?”

Doesn’t explain everything especially the financing. Always check everything or you’ll end up paying twice your trailer’s price. Better go somewhere else who really care about their clients/costumers. I bought my trailer back in 2018.. If you’ll scroll down the reviews back 4-5 years ago you’ll see Im not the only one complaining about this. Yup as buyer I trusted the finance guy so much he just explained all the benefits of having extended warranty and I’ll just add couple bucks to my monthly payment yet skip the part how much will be all the total, and by the way the rock guard they put on my trailer I didn’t consent it. They just added it. Well thanks for your response.

I had been looking around for an RV and had some time to kill one day and stopped into Western RV in Okotoks. Best idea I ever made. Ended up purchasing a unit a couple of weeks later and the experience from start to finish was fantastic. From the sales team, to finance and finally service on delivery day everyone was great to work with and I would highly recommend anyone shopping around stops here to have a look around.

We purchased a used trailer in early Mar 2022 after finding one we liked online. We dealt with Greg and he was very easy to deal with - no pressure tactics and was agreeable to listing the trailer as pending sale for three weeks until we could arrange travel from BC to view the unit. Being a used travel trailer - we expected some issues but everything we noted as a deficiency was addressed and repaired as agreed- meeting or exceeding our expectations. The dealership arranged to have our unit delivered to the lower mainland at a very reasonable price and it arrived as agreed. We now have the trailer set up and have been pleased with the unit and the willingness of the dealership to answer any questions we have had. There has only been a couple of minor fixes required - but being a used trailer - we expected some but have so far been very satisfied. We would definitely recommend giving Western RV Country Okotoks a chance to assist anyone looking for a trailer - overall experience was very satisfying.
