β β β β β Go on Sunday. Go right before closing. This is when the deals happen and you can barter for the remainder of the produce for crazy low prices.
If you are fussy about fresh, Go early....get the best of the fresh stuff. Supporting local and food thats not traveled around the globe makes sense.

β β β β β Love the western market, especially on the weekends when it's bustling with activity and fresh foods/produce. The dessert and coffee stands smell sand taste delicious. The food stalls are unique and varied, like frozen pizzas and pies, Nepalese dumplings, vegan/gluten-free/dairy free cupcakes, and Korean kimchi. The crafts and goods upstairs are interesting and fun to go through. The market offers such a wide range of shopping experiences - something for everyone.

β β β β β Pretty cool little market.. if you're looking for vegetables and farm-fare they really don't have that much, and most is over priced.
But if your looking for a good selection of meats, cheese, local craft honey, craft and hand made items this is a great place.
For Vegan and plant based shoppers they've got a great little shop with vegan cheese, meats and frozen stuff you don't see anywhere else.
There's lots of great food vendors offering a wide variety of different food items if your looking to eat lunch there as well.
Love this place, just wish the hours were a little longer.
