Been going to the gym here for ages. Lots of machines, free weights and barbells. Lots of strong people come here and they are power lifting friendly. Chalk is okay too as long as you keep it clean and off the floor. Front staff have always been very nice.

This is my favourite community in all of Richmond. It is nice, new and has good service. The Youth in Action Team here is very good for high school students who are eager to help in the community and get more involved and also get some extra service hours. I have gone to many of the public family events at this centre and they have all been well planned and fun for families. My daughters have praised and like the Kpop dance classes here as well.

We held our daughter's 4th Birthday party here a couple of weeks ago, and from the moment we phoned to inquire til the time we packed up and left, the staff at West Richmond Community Centre were friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. The multi purpose room is spacious, they provided us with ample tables and chairs, the kitchenette was a huge bonus, and the toys they provided were an absolute hit with the kids (and the parents, too)! Even though one of our party hosts was sick that day, we appreciated that we were kept informed and cared for. Thank you, Stephanie and staff, for making us feel so welcome. My daughter loved her birthday party!

Lots of space! You can play a lot of sports here, from Tennis, to Soccer, to Basketball. Not sure if the indoor centre is open again, but it has a well stocked weight room. Washrooms are accessible from the outside, and they have always been clean whenever I've used them. There is an adequate play area for smaller children, too, but is probably due for a bit of a refresh compared to some of the other play centres.

I moved to Richmond 5 years ago. Customer service becomes subpar since the management switch a few years ago. Employees are rude. The facilities are nice, it too bad the employees and clients have rude attitude. I recommend going another community center nearby or private gym.

Hands down the best community center in Richmond. Especially the fitness center, ran incredibly by Murray, who is more relatable by us male youth than half of our peers in the same age group are. All of the ladies, and occasionally a wild Gabe, working the reception desk (or behind it, shout out Steph and Steve!) are filled with kindness and are an absolute pleasure to see when we come and go. One of the few places I've found to be genuine in their tolerance and acceptance of people from all districts of life, with an authentic diverse culture and warm, welcoming atmosphere overall. I'm stupid levels of weird, and I love every second of my workouts here - the only way to make it better would be to put a couch along the weight room wall so that we can lounge more and stay for longer. Things to note for potential attendees of the fitness center: Immediately after school (2:30 - 4:00) can bring some congestion and rowdiness with the youth coming to work out. They have power bars, a hex bar, safety squat bar, you can deadlift and use chalk (clean it up though). Squat rack, bench press, smith machine, leg press, adjustable cables, pec deck, machine row, machine dips, assisted pull up/dip station, hamstring curl, leg extension, preacher curl, seated calves, hyper extension, adjustable benches. Dumbbells only go up to 90 lbs. It sucks, we know, but don't let that deter you. Things like foam rollers, yoga mats, limited selection of kettle bells, bands, bosus, etc. Limited area to warm up and stretch. Lockers (BYOL) and cubbies always available.
