Went today for an xray. I am pregnant and my dr knows this. I've been sick for over a month and antibiotics aren't doing anything. When I told the tech that I was pregnant he said we're not doing it. And I told him all of the above and he said well it's not up to your dr...I mean it's your baby (like I would intentionally harm my unborn child). He then went to discuss it with someone else and they did it but not before he also very accusingly asked if I was a smoker, which I am not. I left in tears because of the way this guy made me feel. Obviously if my dr thought I was sick enough to be worth the risk of an xray she knows what she's doing. If they don't want to do it that's fine but implying basically that I don't mind hurting my baby and then assuming I'm a smoker just all rubbed me the wrong way. I was furious. Being pregnant and hormonal I'm sure didn't help but this guy had 0 tact or bedside manner. I wish I had got his name but I was too upset to even think straight. What a terrible experience.

Disappointing that they wouldn't allow my husband in the room for our first ultrasound. And when my husband asked them why, no one could give him a reason. Just straight up sexist -- It's his baby just as much as mine! Also, they provided the images on a CD for us, but the files won't open on my computer. Didn't realized I needed to be in IT to view my baby's ultrasound. Times have changed and they need to get up to speed!

The ultrasound tech was the worst I could have imagined. No bedside manner, kept asking me if I was sure I was pregnant (so obviously now I'm worried we lost the baby, so thanks for that), and then while I was obviously a bit upset she unceremoniously booted me out of the room to pull on my leggings. So I had to try hold my gown closed, gather my things, and waddle across the hall just to slide on leggings. Her reason? "I need to clean." It was the end of the day, so I assume she just wanted to get home 2 minutes quicker. Awful, won't be going back. EDIT: Forgot how the front desk didn't know how to read the doctor's requisition and just said, "Oh well, the tech will figure it out," and didn't care.

The admin staff were helpful and understanding during a busy time at this centre. However, the ultrasound technician working on Dec 15 was remarkably unprofessional. As a physician, I work with dozens of healthcare professionals and patients on a daily basis, and this technician's bedside manner was among the worst I've ever seen or encountered. I will not be returning.

I am blown away by the front desk lady. I was two minutes early and they took 17 minutes to check me in, then processed to tell me that I’m late and they’ll try and squeeze me in. On top of how long check in took they couldn’t allow me a spare two minutes to contact my doctor to fix the tiniest discrepancy on my form and sent me home with a bad Achilles and no ultrasound because β€œthey were closing soon”. So now I possibly have a partially torn Achilles and will have to wait at least a month to be seen again. Absolutely brutal business and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone ever!

The front desk staff are miserable gave me a gead time about the dr who did my rec paper i oblt cam here because i had no other choice 3 staff members that working in the office at the desk none of them know what they're doing You guys need to hire some qualified people cause this is ridiculous the 2nd time I've been here and It's always an issue

The front desk staff were very friendly and my ultrasound technician (I believe she said her name was Mercedes) was very professional had great bedside manner. Excellent service all around. My appt was right on time and everything went smoothly.

I had a bad experience with one of the Ultrasound Technologists at Walkers Line location. I was waiting at the change room for the technologist to call me into the ultrasound room. A few minutes later, she appeared at the end of the hallway and said I was waiting for you. I don't know which room is hers, shouldn't she come to me and take me to the room? If this is her attitude I can only say she is not a pleasant person and not nice to her customer. But a worse thing happened. When I got the report online, at the end of the report, it says the customer declined to do one of the tests. I was shocked, she didn't ask me if I want to do that test. I assume the technologist should follow the doctor's requisition and do all the tests. She didn't do it and lied. I trust Wentworth is a professional lab and should complete the doctor's medical request, if I didn't get chance to check the report I wouldn't know they didn't even complete the task.
