★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you contact them saying you are having issues and might be late they will charge you a extra fee for not having money. They are nothing but crooks who just want to take your money. They also refuse to do anything but auto withdraw and that is not right as some people have payments that aren't always regular

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An insurance company that denies the laws of physics! One of their clients side swiped me causing damage to the FRONT and SIDE of my vehicle. Wawanesa is denying responsibility because they say I BACKED into their client. How'd I damage the front of my car while backing into another car???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful when using your broker to get you a quote from this company. They will quote you a low price and then once you sign expect it to jump up due to "Installment Fees". It's funny how that comes up after you signed and it's not the amount you were quoted.
If I were you I would look somewhere else. I currently switched to TD and got a lower price instantly. Not even a mention of an "Installment Fee". I'd suggest giving TD a go if you need an honest quote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I see so many reasons why not to use them. See other ratings. Agree and experienced same issues. You hear their commercials and they say we care. They don't. They don't communicate to you. Not telling you why it's not proceeding normally. I've called numerous times and I mean numerous. Been with them for 10 years. I see why now people dislike this company. They are there when you don't need them or they want your money. I'm now looking else where. Fix your problems or lose your customers to better competitors. Who do care!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was with this company for car insurance for approximately 10 years, they (out of nowhere) pulled a double payment of my insurance for no reason at all, within a day of each other and 6 months later still haven’t paid it back. No apology, only them trying to cancel my policy when I put a stop payment to prevent them from doing it again the following month when I paid them right away. They are horrible, unapologetic and if I could give them negative stars, I would. The reviews speak for themselves; they have earned their 2.1 star rating to date.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 0 star, I got hit from behind in October last year while trying to change lane/ get off the road during a hailstorm, my car was deemed a write off, I was told it was no fault and paid out $8k for a car I was 6 months from paying off. I bought a beater Audi 2009 with what was left after paying off my old vehicle. Fast forward to January I do not get my new quote as I moved and I get $ 360 removed from my account I call and they say I was at fault for the accident and my mail was returned to sender I ask hows that possible and I'm told to go to the ubersman, this month I was charged for $520.This is a very shady company and I'm worse off than after my accident, I thought insurance was for peace of mind I'll be taking my business elsewhere please do the same they are very dishonest company .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this company the best you can. My parked car was hit and it took a month to get any answers. I was a customer for 10 years with no prior claims. I asked for their patience and to explain the process as it was happening and I recieved the opposite. My adjuster was annoyed every time I reached out. I was entitled to a rental car during the process and they lied saying I was not, suggested I take cabs as it was more cost effective. At the end of the month they called and informed me I was supposed to have a rental and I chose not to take one. They reimbursed my cab fair but NOT the tips. I reached out to managment to explain my frustrations and got no call back or explanation. The adjuster was uneducated on the new laws and there is no accountability.
I am regretful and embarrassed for the years I employed this company to insure my vehicle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So now I understand why people give such a low mark. If there is zero, I would love to choose that. So here is the thing, my car was hit back by this company client. I have no fault but they just try to not take their responsibility by either not fixing my car or rent a car for me. They not response my email or when I call them, they’ll say they will give back to me in 24 hours. But they didn’t. My car now is not able to drive safely on the road as the back light and pieces get off. And you know what? This accident happened last month Nov. 25, now it’s already one month, I am still worry any time those keep falling pieces from the back while I am driving and when they gonna take their responsibility to fix my car. Really, leave away from this company, otherwise it’s gonna be you next time when you are in a accident and have no idea who you trust to get help.
