★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably THE fastest nail job I’ve ever had. Its good for me because I don’t like sitting at places for a long time and she actually did a pretty decent time for 20-25 minutes! The lady was really nice and suggested a nice pink nude shade for me since I told her I like nude colours and didn’t find anything on the samples they had.
I can see why there’s a lot of mixed reviews, she was a little hard on filing (but she didn’t hurt me) and I can definitely tell she was rushing because another client was there. I had an okay experience all in all and would come back for a fill with the recommended colour she gave me!

Since day one she has always done my nails absolutely perfect and is always a pleasure to visit each time. She is not only fast but extremely thorough:) I highly recommend her for both manicure and pedicures also waxing if need be!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mai pays attention to detail and always does a great job! This is my 4th time back and she doesn’t disappoint. I go during my lunch break and she usually finishes a full set within 35-45 minutes, depending on style/color I want. Would recommend but call beforehand to see if they’ll have availability

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING! Mai does such a good job with my acrylic French ombre style that i get complimented everywhere i go. It's not just nails, it's an art form! Seriously awesome service and the staff are incredibly skilled. I come all the way from Whistler just to get my nails done here. I highly recommend them. The view of the harbour is really beautiful as well.total bonus to an already perfect experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked for my kids to get their nails and toes just painted - and my one daughter to have shellac on her toes
They then suggested pedis on toes. I said okay - just to pedis then just paint on the nails. By the time my nails were done they had full mani pedis with shellac A not what I ordered or intended to spend.
My one daughter was spectacular - but not what I ordered or expected to spend. My other daughters was slightly see through, hair in one and paint on some cuticles.
Overall not overly impressed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited here with 6 other girls as a part of a bachelorette party activity. We had booked a week in advance, but they didn't schedule enough nail techs. Their reason was that they always have parties book and cancel last minute, so few of us ended up waiting. I decided to do acrylic nails for the first time. The lady who did mine was very, VERY aggressive. She would pull my hands and press really hard down on my fingers to loosen my skin from the nail glue, it felt like she was pinching me. She worked so fast with the buffing machine that she ended up buffing the skin on my hands. My fingers actually hurt for a while afterwards. I also had a colour in mind, she asked me twice if I was sure that was the colour I wanted. She ended up wanting to change the colour, so I just agreed because she was really persistent about it.
Despite all of that, the end product looked really nice and I was really happy with how my nails turned out. It's just the process that wasn't so pretty. The staff was pretty nice, so I might come back if I was bringing a guest from out of town. Also, the location is gorgeous and the view is great, but I don't think I would visit regularly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pleasure of going here yesterday! Every time I take the float plane I make sure I stop in here to get my nails filled. "My" does such an amazing job. She is by far one of my FAVOURITE nail techs to go to. I wish I lived here so she could be my main nail tech. Because of covid I haven't been to Vancouver in a couple years, the moment I walked in she recognized me and made me feel so welcome and loved! It felt like I never left. I have been getting my nails done for over a decade now, and she is by far the fastest/best tech I have had . I have long nails and always come with a tight time frame bc of catching the float plane, she can do a whole set in under an hour, where my girls in Calgary and Nanaimo can take upwards of 2 hours. She is such a professional and knows exactly what she is doing. There is no other place I wold go to in Vancouver. I have been going on and off to waterfront nails for about 5/6 years now. I was just so impressed yesterday I had to write a review today! Highly recommend! You cannot beat the waterfront view, it is a truly one of a kind place, I feel so lucky to have the as my go to place when I come to Vancouver, she has never has trouble fitting me in, even on short notice if I call ahead!
She did this fill in about 45 minutes, I am always amazed at "My" lol I put it in quotations so you don't think I made a typo
