★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a fan of the new store. No small town feel. They have urbanized it. Super expensive and far less selection.
The old owners and store needed an upgrade, unfortunately this is not it.
Only customers they will get are unsuspecting tourists , I can't see too many locals bothering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New owner doesn't get it! New and clean yes, but no cigarettes, no lottery, no more cheese bread or cheese buns. And customer service is really lacking! ...Also, people parked at the store in the front for 50 years, but I guess a big sign telling people not to park there is better somehow? Prices are ridiculous too. I'd rather drive to Bancroft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AS OF 2021 all reviews previous should be taken with a grain of salt.
The new store is MUCH cleaner, brighter and more inviting - big improvement in that aspect.
However, prices are high compared to bancroft / the former Sayers in Apsley and selection is very limited.
No lottery, no cigarettes. Very basic selection of groceries, toiletries, candies, etc.
Hope the selection improves over time, but it's a good start.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is no longer the Dump Steve ran with his family. This store has new owners that totally renovated the store . It is a very clean and tidy store to buy your everyday items minus lottery and tobacco products. The prices are higher due to the location and it being in Coe Hill. The nearest grocery store from here would be in Bancroft about a 30 minute drive. Not sure if they still offer propane tank refills
