Keelan, who I consider to be one of the best personal trainers in Victoria, is also the captain behind this great business. If you are interested in getting healthier, or possibly looking for something new to do with your buddies, I couldn't recommend Victoria Sport and Social more. I love VSSC. I've met some of the most amazing people who have been more than supportive of me coming in being practically a beginner in everything. Now I am the Captain of a few of my teams and joining even more leagues! It's probably the highlight of my week and I would recommend anyone and everyone join (as long as you're over 19+).

Signed up for dodgeball and co-ed turf soccer. Unfortunately not enough females joined up so I was asked if I'd like a refund on the turf soccer, or try the indoor futsal league. I decided to try out the futsal because I love soccer quite a lot. To my surprise, the playing surface was entirely concrete, which I thought was a terrible idea and am even hesitant to play a contact sport on wood flooring, because things can happen. I found the gameplay was quite rough without much recourse or disciplinary actions from the observing official who had to watch multiple games at a time. Another fun feature of this futsal league was the games were double headers, meaning TWO one-hour games on concrete with stretches of the season that had one gameweeks or two gameweeks in a row with no soccer at all (presumably to recover from the injuries and impacts from the concrete). I sent a message to the organizers that I was not satisfied with the futsal conditions and waited for a response on a possible refund of money remaining from registration (pro rating the games played, etc.) I was given the explanation that I could not get a refund because registration had passed, even though the turf soccer league was still looking for female registrants for the season I had opted out of. Bogus explanation, and no resolution of this issue. After more time passed, I was eventually given a credit without any consultation on my end. They went ahead and assumed a credit would work for me, which it didn't. On top of that they removed me from the WRONG LEAGUE, so I lost my dodgeball schedule and have not been to a game in three-four weeks. The last e-mail with them were sarcastic and insensitive, thanking me for my understanding. Sports experience has been fun, but now I see why people are poaching players from the leagues, because the grass is definitely greener. I chose VSSC because I moved from another city with an awesome and understanding *SSC association there. This was a brutal experience of service and I would not recommend this league to just about anyone. 2/10 - ya can keep my credit and I'll gladly find another league to play in

So I'm a business owner and was interested in a possible collaboration with VSSC. I looked on the website to see who to call and the staff directory listed Lael as the Executive Director responsible for strategic planning, vision, direction of the company and "Initiating business partnerships." Great! I called the number at the time indicated on the website. Lael answered, and after I introduced myself immediately bounced me from the call, saying she was expecting another call "now." We made an appointment for me to call back in exactly one hour. No problem. I called back for my appointed time and no answer. I then left two voice messages, one on her office line and the other on her cell number as directed by the OGM. It has been two days and no call back. If Lael is the senior leadership responsible for modeling vision and direction for the company this is not a company I am interested in dealing with. One has to assume that this atrocious attitude will trickle down into the organizational culture. I plan to steer clear and needless to say will not be engaging in any collaborations with VSSC.

I’ve called a dozen times, left voice mails and emails for ANYONE to call me back in regards to a refund as I am physically unable to play in a league that hasn’t even started yet! due to a car accident. No one picks up their phones. DO NOT spend you money here! Customer service is nonexistent at VSSC

Wow. Just got off the phone with Christian. Horrible customer experience. They released the basketball schedule last week with times that were varied and acceptable. I would have missed 1 or 2 games because of early starts. No problem. Then after the season started, they released another schedule with 4/6 early starts, which means I could only get to 2 games. I asked for a refund, and all they could so was quote policy to me. They said they could refund me only if I found someone else to take my spot. Such service. I would NEVER recommend this company. Terrible experience, and they’ve lost a customer for good...which they didn’t seem to care about anyway. I guess business is so good, they can pass on the customers that make a simple request.
