m	maevah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The management of this place have no consideration for tenants. We've had serious power outage issues since June and it is still not fixed (8 months later). We've lacked power for over 48 hours straight in June, several power outages since then and the power went out on new years eve recently again. They have no problem raising the rent still despite all the annoyances. No way to get decent water temperatures either, the building randomly decides whether you get scalding hot or ice cold water half of the time you need to use it. It's quite ridiculous. No electrical outlet in the washroom, strange thing for 2016. I would not recommend this place. Can't wait to move out. (This placed used to be called Parkside Towers, you can see the reviews there too)
E	Elsie Pastrana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This building is overpriced. We rented on the 6 floor facing west. I don't need view. I need a nice apartment for the apartment for rent $1,856 dollars. How much. would be the increase next month $50 dollars more? We ask ur management if we can get a lower floor b cos this apartment is too hot in summer. And hear this, the heat on winter is very bad. It is non existent. We have asked couple of times if we can get a lower floor & the answer is always no vacancy when we see new tenants move in in the lower floor. Aren't t the tenant already in the building have no right to move? I really regret to tell you we are not treated accordingly.

The management and staff in the office are very friendly and readily available to help. The building has great amenities such as gym, sauna, pool, BBQ area. They also have guest suites available in both towers for very reasonable prices which are great if you have out of town guests coming to visit. I can't speak for the bad reviews but I would have zero hesitation in recommending this building to friends or family. P.s make the Pool heated so it can be used year round ?
D	Derek Braendel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lived here 8 years. I have always found the management to be professional and responsive whenever there has been problems. Personally, I've found them to be communicative and nice. The building is clean and well maintained. The grounds are well kept. Concrete walls, floor and ceiling has made neighbors virtually silent. The outside traffic noise is annoying, being a busy intersection, especially with emergency vehicles, but I do love the view of the city and being within walking distance to everything. A few years ago we had a transformer blow up due to an electrical storm. Since the model was no longer made it took most of a year of band-aid solutions until a custom made replacement was installed. Management did their best to keep us up to date with the replacement schedule and occasional down times. A couple years ago there was some rebar compromise on a couple balconies. Vista spent a ton of money inspecting every balcony. It was a loud noisy summer and we had no access to our balconies. It drove many people nuts but it had to be done and the finished product better then new. I am impressed Vista hasn't taken the quick and cheap way out, on any of the projects I've seen them undertake. Any damage is fixed quickly. Any impact to tenants is clearly announced. This is indeed the best apartment I've had.

When other buildings in New Westminster can set their temperature over 25, Vista claims that you can not set your home temperature more than 22. Most of the heating pipes of my unit is cold and they don’t care about fixing . When it comes to renovation, the only thing they do is removing carpets and replacing them with laminate. That’s it.

The building is currently undergoing a major repair/upgrade of the water barriers and outdoor spaces. While this is a nuisance at the moment, it is an indication to me that the ownership is committed to maintaining the property in good condition. While the building is older, it seems to me like it was well constructed in the first place and has been well maintained and upgraded over the years. One concern is that their are steps down to the main parkade from one of the buildings which could be an issue for handicapped folks. The main entrance has a ramp.

The management is responsive, organized and thoughtful when it comes to addressing tenant's needs and concerns if any. I enjoy all the wonderful amenities of this building such as gym, swimming pool, sauna, recreation and laundry room. I like their concept of guest suites and getogether room if we need to organise any personal event. Everything is maintained well and is kept clean and upgraded consistently with managers and team on site in each building. To top it all it is a pet friendly apartment in a wonderful location opposite to Moody park, Walmart, library and lot of restaurants around. It is easily accessible by transit. It would be great if they also positively allow small pets such as rabbits or hamsters for those who cannot afford to have big long time committed pets like dogs, cats and birds. I am happy to be living here!
