RUN AWAY! A bunch of liars, they pressured me into signing a contract assuring me that I can cancel anytime with no penalty or issues if not happy, I cancelled before I even plugged in the terminal, they said "You signed a 4 year lease on the terminal so you're stuck with that $45 a month for 4 years and there is no way out of it" They just decided to conveniently leave that detail out of their sales pitch!!! I would've never signed if I had known that. Disgusting, I don't know how you guys sleep at night. This should be ILLEGAL!!!

Making a move from your debit provider of 10+ years isn't easy. Our group of dentistries across the GTA have had a long lasting relationship with our vendors. Trust has been built over reputation, and on delivering on promises. Last year, our receptionist had a very interesting offer to present to me. A young professional from VirtuPay wanted to discuss merchant services with me, and assured me that it wouldn't be a waste of time. His demeanour was laxed, and he looked like someone who knows the industry well. I took the meeting, but warned him that i would only entertain the idea of switching, as ScotiaBank and Chase Paymentech was my preferred vendor for over a decade. When i presented him my statement, he was confused. He said that it was impossible to pay fees that low, and was curious as to how the merchant services provider was making any money of my monthly statement. He was resilient, and assured me that there has to be a mistake. I called my service provider instantly, and provided my merchant number to the customer service representative. With much shock, the rep told me that I had this account opened without any processing history for 8 years. There has to have been a mistake. The rep then told me I have another account linked to the same address that has processing. After receiving statements from the other account, I realized that merchant services was something I never looked at, much like a telephone bill. The VirtuPay rep offered to help me cancel both contracts and switch over to his services without any start up fee (Chase was $300). Now its been 1 year, and our year end has shown that we saved 40% on our yearly services!! I hope most of you business owners who are hesitant to switch providers took the time to read this. I will continue to send referrals to VirtuPay and I thank them for approaching my business.

FINALLY! I have been in an unbreakable contract with FIRST DATA (BE AWARE!) and was unable to find a better solution to my everyday problem. Old machines, horrible customer service...you name it, its First Data. When i thought I had given hope, and was ready to accept defeat... a gentleman approached my business offering merchant services. Due to my frustration, i told the gentleman to EFF off... but he was committed to helping me. He showed me ways to LEGALLY get out of my contract...and didnt charge me a dime for something a Lawyer would charge hundreds of dollars. I am now with a better device, at a lower cost and I ran the numbers twice to make sure. Definitely recommending anyone to switch to VirtuPay!

I switched from my provider to VirtuPay after 9 years of overpaying on merchant services. The director of sales walked me through the process, showed me how to save money on processing fees and even helped me cancel out my old provider without paying a penalty! The process was simple and effortless. I would recommend VirtuPay to any business owner who is with their bank provider!

Working here and the organizational structure of the company is outstanding. Highly recommend anyone that is looking for a sales opportunity to apply here. I had only worked sales jobs all my life, from product sales to over the phone cold calling. VirtuPay is that difference i was looking for. Apart from just sales, they focus on long term goals, keen in on your strengths and work on your weaknesses. I can say after 2 years working here, that my experience has been like no other!

Definitely recommending anyone to switch to VirtuPay! I am paying a lot less than I was with the previous company and their customer service is great. They are always available to answer any questions and have saved me so much money in the last few years. I've recommended them to all the businesses in my area and will continue to do so.

EDIT*** My review from about a year ago can be seen beneath my new one here: I don't know what it is with these merchant service brokers. They seem to know what they are doing and try to do anything for you in the first couple of months. Adam said he helped us cancel our previous contract with First Data, but fast forward a couple of months, we are still paying for the service. This may have been a misunderstanding, maybe he did do it i'm not sure. But whats been bothering me is the fact that he doesn't ever pick up/return my calls. As soon as he was unable to a solve problem, he disappears. I was hesitant to make the switch to VirtuPay at first because with the provider i was with before, i was promised a lot, but nothing was delivered after signing up. I'm so happy I ended up making the decision to make the switch to VirtuPay. Adam made the transition to switch hassle free for me, and even helped me get out of a contract without paying a penalty with my previous provider. The best part is, he will still pick up your calls or call you back after you've signed up to help you with any issues. I would definitely recommend VirtuPay for any businesses that appreciate an easy read statement and good service!
