Vietnam Noodle Star

A very rude waitress Tina, ruined my dine in experience. She served half cup of hot black coffee and wouldn’t add more water. Then she started arguing with the customer and throw the hot coffee cup inside the bin. The food is average but her rudeness makes customers feel uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place for pho noodle soup

Bought dinner set B and H. Foods are tasty and price are fair even there wa extra 2 dollars charge for take out. Will go there again!

My wife and I were up for a bowl of Pho and this place is close to us, been living in the area for almost 20 years and this is first time to visit. I'm not gonna comment on the authenticity of the Pho, I'm not qualified enough to do that. However, for us and our experience with Pho it was still good. We ordered the chicken slices Pho, with Pineapple & Sausage fried rice along with shrimp curry malaysian style. It was too much food for us, we ended up taking the left over curry shrimp and the fried rice home. For curries, I'm not so much into the heat/spice so I always ask for mild, I'm after the flavor without so much the kick to the tongue in spice. Service was relatively quick. The servers/wait staff attitude and behaviour leave a lot to be desired. Place is quite spacious and the parking can fill up quite fast depending on the time of day you happen to visit. This place was more wallet friendly than Pho Vietnam. I'd say if you're on a smaller budget for dining out this is a good place to go with family or small group. Enjoy your meal, just don't pay attention or be to critical on the wait staff..since language is apparently an obstacle if you're an English speaking foodie dining here. We plan on going back, there are quite a few dishes that caught our interest. Oh just so you won't be caught off guard when you settle your bill, they do charge $0.25 convenience fee if settle with Debit card. No need to make a huge fuss over it since lot of Asian restos split or charge the whole merchant fee towards the consumer. Some Caucasian foodie aren't used to this practice. Update : August 28,2017 Our second visit we ordered a small bowl of sliced beef Pho, Seafood Laksa 2 type noodles with curry soup and the Grilled squid. All were good, I really enjoyed the Seafood Laksa with 2 types of noodles. Also, they don't seem to take Credit Cards. The extra business info has Credit card checked. Make sure you either have your Debit card handy or are packing Cash. Update : Dec 22, 2021 Recently visited this resto again. Granted still during pandemic and social distancing. Prices have gone up for dine in restos I find. We ordered : Small Cooked Beef Pho, Vietnamese Noodles and BBQ Squid. Wifey enjoyed her Pho. I only tasted the Pho broth, since I can't eat beef due to gout. The Vietnamese noodles were also good. The BBQ Squid for $8.99 CAD, sorry, we found it not as enjoyable as to back in 2017-2018. Even tho I like squid, it's one of the seafood I can consume and not cause a reaction with gout flare up. The squid we had didn't seem completely cooked. Not enough char on it either. Tho for the Vietnamese Noodle dish, it seems steep priced at $13.99 CAD Will still come back for other dishes tho, since it is cold weather now and Pho is comforting for colder weather.

I'm not Vietnamese but I've been to a number of Pho restaurants on the east side so I can definitely say its one of the better places that I've been to. I ordered a large house special and was amazed at the amount of toppings that they give you. The bowl might not be the largest but its definitely hearty, topping-wise. The rice dishes are decent as well (sampled the pork chop, chicken and shrimp) so no complaints there. Overall, it's worth a visit.

I came here with my sister since she highly recommended this place. Food was great definitely coming again soon. Portions are pretty big. A great place for those who like flavour and spicy.

One of my favourite places to have pho. Been coming here for many years and will continue to. Staff here are friendly and service is quick and efficient. As far as ordering goes, they will provide you with a pen and paper to jot down your order (item number and special requests) The orders always come out perfectly, no onions in pho just like I requested. Pho (w/ cooked beef + beef balls) - The pho comes with fresh noodles(I prefer fresh over dry noodles) they give a decent amount of meat here. Soup is normal tasting a bit on the bland side and from my past experiences sometimes the soup comes really hot and sometimes it comes really warm. So for the raw beef eaters, be aware of that. Grilled pork neck(snack size) - This is actually what I draws me here time and time again. It's grilled to perfection everytime. The pork has a light sweet glaze on it and marinade is tasty. I highly recommend this dish. One of my go to places for quick delicious meal.

Never disappoints. Have been coming here since I was young and we always order pho. Very consistent in terms of taste, quality and quantity. I love that the meat is soft unlike some places where the meat becomes too chewy. Have yet to try other dishes, as the price for appetizers such as the shrimp rolls (2 pieces) is quite high compared to others that give 4 pieces. But overall, great place for a quick bite.

A legacy pho restaurant in Scarborough. Food has been consistent since it first opened. Staff are friendly and service is quick. The menu can be overwhelming, so I normally just get the special pho and spring rolls. Pineapple fried rice is also a very popular item.
