L	Lucy Price on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Shergill is so gentle and kind, he patiently answers all of our questions, takes his time, and takes exceptional care of our dog, she absolutely loves him! The entire staff are super friendly and helpful. So glad we found this vet clinic.
f	fred f on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely awful. Brought my kitten in as he was scratching his ears and the vet thought ringworm and told me he needed to take skin and blood samples. I regretfully trusted him and okayed an almost $600 quote. He then made my kitten howl and scream trying to get the samples and then said he needed to sedate him. He has since admitted he caused a massive trauma to my pet in doing this. My kitten is still recovering six days later. Shergill now says I need to put a cone on my kittens head and purchase two more treatments on top of the three he has already prescribed. He scolded me for not doing this 36 hours after he traumatized my pet. My kitten has ringworm and this vet has me spending over $750 and wants me to bring him in for more tests in two weeks - the same thing he admitted he has caused massive trauma with. My kitten is clearly much more damaged by the “treatment” than the ringworm, which I have since found can be treated without bloodwork or sedation. Needless to say, I told this vet he will never lay hands on my pet again and he is a conman clearly more interested in money than the wellbeing of my pet.

He got very sick, and we were turned down by a number of vets who said they were too busy, or we would have had to wait hours to get our dog in. Dr. Shergill was busy, but was kind enough to see our pet after he was done surgery. After a brief wait, he provided excellent service and care. We had known our dog was in the last stages of his life, and Dr. Shergill was very realistic and reasonable in his approach to our pet. Unfortunately, by the next day, he did not recover, and we knew it was time. We brought him in again early to Vic West without an appointment, and the good doctor was kind enough to do what needed to be done. Dr. Shergill was most compassionate and humane throughout the entire process, and I must say that the whole staff at Vic West Pet Hospital treated us and our dog with such kindness and decency. Even a small gesture like having a candle burning in the front office while our beloved pet was being put to sleep was very meaningful to us. Thank-you Dr. Shergill and the staff at Vic West, for making such a difficult experience much more bearable.

My cat is a rescue and has only accepted me over the years. He heard me and understood everything she need. She was so comfortable there more than I have ever seen. The heated tables help a lot for the comfort of the cat. I highly highly recommend this vet!!!! They are wonderful and my girl will be their new patient. Good job vic West!
