Whatever was great and wonderful truly is not any longer. Sour hash browns, limpy toast, barely warm food. No love. Lost to me. Sad

I eaten at Vesta my whole life. My Grandma used to take me there for breakfast and I'd occasionally have some when I visited her. While I used to love eating there, the past few visits have had me rethinking due to quality control. The fries as of late taste very stale/not crispy. Its very disappointing. I forgot to ask to fry them a bit longer. I dont know what happened to the fries but they are very not crispy. Just soggy which is very disappointing as that is something I looked forward to in a diner.

If you want authentic Colombian food don’t waste your well earned money here. The owners are Mexicans trying to make extra money selling Colombian food that is no where near what Colombian food is. The so called Colombian dish that these Mexicans sell is done with cheap quality food.

I used to love this place. The last two times my food was cold and there was no dressing on my salad. The most recent time I was handed the bag sideways and the meal fell into itself. On top of that the napkins in the bag were soaking wet, and not from the sideways meal as there was no liquid in the meal; simply wet from most probably water

We came across Vesta Lunch, and it seemed like the only place that was open for the morning, aside from a cute small coffee shop and other restaurants that don’t open till noon. We walked in and we were greeted by a lovely gentleman manning the kitchen, he was alone but nonetheless served us well. I ordered the β€œEggs any style” as the others picked sandwiches, we were the first ones there so we go our food as soon it was done, started enjoying our food as some people started rolling in for brunch. I don’t know what it is about eating at diners, specifically this one but it definitely made me feel at home, from the cook, to the space and a simple home cooked like meal. It may look like a simple diner but there’s more to it for sure, it felt like my dad was cooking for me when i was a kid waking up in the morning. We watched the gentleman cook for other customers after finishing our own meal and the burger also caught my boyfriends eye, wished we ordered that to go haha. Overall experience, sometimes you gotta pass all the fancy stuff that other places go all out just to make simple meals, don’t be afraid to hail down the cook/servers but be kind, it’s a small space but that’s what gives the diner charm but you also have an option to dine outside the diner during this time. Definitely will come back for more!!

It is a wonderful looking diner, have no idea when it was built or what it's trying to do but just like the classic diners on the east coast of the USA, it has a massive picture window that takes up an entire wall. Plus a wrap around narrow bench and stools. Take note, this place is fabulous and also a bit tarnished which I personally love. I don't eat burgers but the sign said Mexican and Ecuadorian food. I ordered the large tacos, 3 for $12.00. So delicious! Like the diner the food is not pretentious and the owner is someone you don't easily forget!

Had a great time eating here and chatting with Mami. Vesta's has old-timey Greek diner vibes, and one long lunch counter (no tables). Reasonably priced and fast service. Had the veal cutlet and it was nice. Loved the atmosphere. Not a pretentious restaurant -- just a friendly lunch counter!

This isn't just your standard American cuisine. It's one of the last true 24 hour diners. The food is standard, but that's what you should come to expect and love about this place. I pass by nearly every day and it brings a smile knowing the people of Toronto have a place they can come to any time of Day or Night. The service is always ?
