★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had high hopes for brunch here and was disappointed. The cornmeal waffle tasted great, but our server didn't tell us that they'd run out of hollandaise (we were there at ~1pm on a Sunday) so we were expecting our waffles to come with sauce and they didn't. I would have preferred that they let us know in advance because I might have ordered something else. Also, I felt like $14 was too steep for the amount of food we received, and I really wish we'd been offered coffee refills once or twice while we ate.
On the plus side, it's a cute little place with a patio and they have vegetarian/vegan options. I'll probably go back to give it a second chance - maybe it's best to show up earlier while they still have all ingredients in stock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grapefruit moon used to be a lot more alternative and indie over 10 years ago when I was a kid, I miss the Kensington Market meets annex vibe, but its still popping and a good place for a bite

I asked for 2 scrambled eggs with cheese ; i got an egg with no cheese, and 3 slices of tomatoes, slice of bread and tiny portion of fries for $16 dollars. A total ripoff, if i ask cheese with two eggs and u charge me for that you give me what I get charged,if it wasnt raining and i needed a place to stay indoors i wouldnt go to this place again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience. Great atmosphere and very warm staff. I went there for my first time for an open Mike. My mother just passed away and I needed to be surrounded by uplifting people. I felt very welcomed. Definitely be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing, cozy spot to grab brunch! Been here many times and I think it's definitely one of the best breakfast/date spots in Toronto. They have really tasty vegetarian options and the service is always lovely even when they are really busy. Cute and welcoming space, with a very warm atmosphere. ♡

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an adorable restaurant in The Annex. Restaurant is quite small but they have pretty impressive beer and food selection. We had a Pulled Pork Poutine between two people and portion was so huge. It was a bit salty but we enjoyed eating here. Very homey and cosy vibe inside. Would definitely come back for brunch next time!
