The location is perfect - right beside the river and pathways while still being walking distance to Downtown and many other great neighborhoods. The concierge are super friendly and there are lots of amenities throughout the building, including a rooftop patio with a stunning view.
N	N H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lived at the Verve for over two years now and I absolutely love it. The location is amazing and there is always something fun happening in the community. The ability to walk to yoga, work and the stampede when it is here is the best! The building is very modern, bright and well maintained. The fire alarms were a big issue at the beginning but it has improved substantially in the past few months. Verve has also stopped allowing Airbnbs which has been a God send! I would recommend living here and I always get compliments on my unit. It is beautifully designed.

The concierge staff are super friendly, and it has great amenities. I was happy to see it has more elevators than comparable buildings, so wait times are kept to a minimum. The building management company is not so good, and this has an impact on how smoothly things run. Despite this, I would recommend living here.

Being so close to Superstore, the train station and the river is fantastic. The apartment itself is just the right size and the open concept is perfect for entertaining and enjoying the view all year round. We have been unable to see the gym or rooftop due the pandemic, but we have heard good things. Everyone at the concierges desk is lovely and very helpful. Our patio overlooking the river is going to utilized everyday in the spring/summer! We looked at a few apartments/condos in east village and The Verve had the best layout and space.
P	PD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have lived at The Verve for 6 months now and have loved every day of it. The proximity to Superstore, the train station and the river is amazing. Everything is close and you feel about of a community which can be hard to find in Calgary. We find the apartment perfect size for us. Having a pantry is so convenient and the island is perfect for entertaining. We are lucky enough to have a view of the river and we get to enjoy sunshine for most of the day. We have had no issues with security or fire alarms going off. Everyone at the front desk is super helpful and friendly. It's been a great place to live and hoping to be here for much longer!

I see tons of geese and ducks flying by everyday, a bald eagle now and then, and a baby beaver down in the pond. We really enjoy the area. My only complaint is that I have gotten stuck in the elevator twice... but I feel like I just have bad luck! (And the repair person came in a reasonable amount of time to let me out.)

Issues from the past, like fire alarms going off and security issues, all improved over time. Concierge + security are generally friendly. If only the rent was lower, I'd stay longer!

I have an amazing view of the city, a great community of East Village and very functional living space for a great price. Best of the all, the building concierge, Amelita, is second to none. She always greets me with a smile and goes out of her way to ensure the building is running smoothly. She always makes sure we get our packages and she makes me feel like I'm home. The building management does a great job at communicating to the residents. I usually move every year to a new condo because I could never really find a place to call home but I've been at the Verve for 2 years now and I don't plan on leaving for a long time. If you are interested in living a modern lifestyle with access to everything you need, The Verve should be on your list. Thanks to Emerald Management and special thanks to Amelita!
