K	Kristy-Lynn Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother and I came into this store today as we were wandering the downtown core as apart of our Christmas shopping. When we entered the store we were greeted by the 2 young ladies standing at the front counter. We were told that there were multiple levels to view the store. So as we journeyed on our way around the store viewing the merchandise my mother had found herself around an area towards the back. There was an OPEN curtain hanging from the door way but no sign saying "Employees Only" or "Do Not Enter". So when my mother unknowingly walked in she was rudely addressed by (I assume the owner). The owner had asked what she was doing back there and that she had 3 girls working at that time and none of them had told us where to go? We followed the owner to one of her employees who she disciplined in front of us and made us feel stupid for not understanding the information as to where the other viewing areas were. My mother and I turned around, put down the items we were checking out and left. We will not be back. We were humiliated and disappointed. If the owner had not been so ignorant and maybe said, "sorry this area is off limits, allow me to show you where you are supposed to go." Or if there was a sign to address that this area was for Employees Only, this situation would have not occurred and perhaps we would have stayed and purchased some merchandise. After this sour experience we will not be back.
C	Cathy Krol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a beautiful king size quilt on the weekend. The quilt, to my disappointment, comes with only standard size shams (26” x 20”). A king size bed with standard size shams looks ridiculous. I would need three standard shams for a king size bed. Phoned the store and the person that answered told me that most of their bedding only comes with standard shams. Would never have purchased the quilt had I been informed.

We purchased a beautiful Brentwood Classic feather filled love seat for our family room - we love it (and it arrived on time). Plus, some of my favourite pieces are from Veranda. Looking forward to visiting my favourite Bracebridge store soon.
M	Melissa Huang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely store with good selection of furniture and home décor. However, I echo previous reviews that the owner was condescending and rude. My companion and myself accidentally walked into a private area of the store (the owner's office). There was no door, and no signage, and looks completely like a public area. Upon realising our mistake, we quickly backed away. The owner, however, took it upon herself to call us out in front of all the other customers. We apologised but she continued to lecture us about how the store is set up and how we should walk about in an orderly fashion. Understanding extra precaution is taken during the pandemic time, the store owner nonetheless made us feel like imbecile ESL children. Shame, was quite keen on ordering several items but decided to walk out instead.

From design, to selection and delivery our experience could not have been better. Elise and her team were fantastic! Don and the warehouse team made sure our furniture was very well wrapped. It had to be moved by snowmobile and sleigh over the ice. The attention to detail ensured we could move our furniture and did not have to worry. We highly recommend Veranda ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
