Denied living space here, for whatever reason. I was told it was most likely racism. Oh well, at least I got my money back, unlike UNBC. Bet there's still rooms available too

Do you enjoy very poor water pressure in the shower, if so this is the place for you! Otherwise it's a nice quiet place located right in downtown with lots of restaurants, a grocery store and a theater all within walking distance.

I've had my problems with this building, but they've since been resolved, 3 stars as they weren't resolved in a timely fashion. Jess, who pops up from kelowna every so often, 10/10, a great manager and helped me with all my issues.

pros and cons just like everywhere else. Here are my thoughts... It is close to save-on and some other stores if you do not drive. It is also walking distance to restaurants and bars. Bad part about location is the area is sketchy, and you will hear non-stop sirens/traffic and street/homeless yelling on a regular basis (window is not very sound proof). Inside the building it is pretty soundproof; I rarely hear my neighbours which is nice. I wish the main door to the floors had a soft close shut because I can hear that slam all the time. If you want to park underground you have to pay extra (should be included IMO). They also want you to pay to park outside which I think is hilarious. The parkade ramp and stalls are also very cramped (I have already seen someone back into another vehicle). The postal code on the website and google is different from Canada posts and ICBC, so mail has been hit and miss, not sure what is going on there. The fit and finish of the building is decent, for a brand new building there was lots of dents, marks, paint on things etc. so make sure to check your suite good and make notes. Laundry room is nice and always has free machines; it will cost you 5 bucks a load to wash and dry. The gym is pretty nice for an apartment gym, it has the basics and usually only a couple people in there. There is a golds walking distance if you need something better. The bed is not good just get a mattress topper. You have a good desk and working area for your schooling. If you have winter tires or need storage there currently isn't any (something to consider). I wish the garbage and recycling were in the parkade like other buildings I have lived in. You have to do the chilly walk outside (don't slip). A plumber should come and increase the water pressure which seems to be a common complaint. Its decent at the best of times and sometimes I think ants pee harder. Take care :)

This was definitely a hard place for me to get in but it was definitely worth it! The Veda team is so nice and understanding and is great with communicating. Specially the building manager Norman, He’s such a nice guy and very welcoming, I appreciate the help he gives and I enjoy our small talks. It is around a sketchy area but the security cameras and pass code by every door is nice to have. Overall I’m enjoying my stay in this place because of all the cool rooms like the gym, club room, and study room I can go whenever I want and I’m most definitely excited for the theatre room! I’d give the process of getting a place here a three but overall the place is worth it I’ll give it a five because it’s close to the stores like save on foods, London drugs etc, and the bus stop is right beside the building which is very helpful. Thank you for having me in this place(:

This has been a great place to live! Love having a gym to go to whenever I would like without having to leave. Lots of safety measures in place to keep residents safe! Norman the front desk guy is lovely, he is very welcoming and he takes all suggestions to make the building better seriously and has brought them to life.I appreciate his efforts that he makes. Highly recommend, also very close to EVERYTHING which is great.

VEDA Living is a great place to live for students! I've lived here since September and have zero complaints. This building has all the amenities you could ask for, including a gym, study rooms, and even a theatre room. The equipment in the gym is of professional and high quality, rivaling any other gym in town. The building is also EXTREMELY quiet, which is important for me as a student. I can say I never hear my neighbors. The laundry room is also great! The machines are brand new, clean, and are very reasonably priced. The building manager, Norman, is amazing. He is so kind and always goes above and beyond to ensure his tenants are happy. He is more than willing to listen to any suggestions and always has a smile on his face. He also keeps the building and its amenities meticulously clean. Thank you VEDA for the exceptional experience so far :)
