As a student, this job is absolutely perfect! I work around a schedule that I make and earn an excellent income around school ? with vector so many opportunities have opened up in my life, including travel! I highly recommend this job to hard working individuals who want a flexible work schedule!

I started with Vector in November 2018 just after I turned 18. I have since been pursuing Vector part time while attending school full time. I have been able to develope life skills through my experiences here and I credit much of my success to this office. We say here that we are changing lives selling knifes and there is no doubt in my mind that this is true. I am Greatfull for my oppertunities here and this job has hands down been my best employment experience ever!

I've been a sales representative with Cutco/vector marketing for about 5 weeks now and i can honestly say I love my job! The hours are super flexible because you make your own schedule, the team I work with in Calgary is awesome and so supportive which helps me stay focused on my goals! In just over a month I've gotten 3 promotions which is awesome, my resume looks amazing because of this job and they also give you the chance to travel! I could honestly go on and on about everything I love about the job but that would take me hours!

These guys are all about "professionalism" until it is time to pay the reps. I have worked for these guys and I would say it is a complete waste of time. The meetings are mandatory yet they aren't paid, neither is the training. They don't pay you and just keep stalling with the payments that you are due (I've constantly been calling them for the past 4 months). They really have the audacity to blame one's marketing skills when you have to sell knives for $1,800 to an average family. Would never recommend a job that doesn't pay you to anyone.

I would give this company a zero if I could. They sugar coat the job and the advantages that come with it. They pressure you to sell to your families and when no one buys they find a way to blame our marketing skills and not the knives. This job requires a-lot of time commitment and they aren't understanding. I was forced to book demos and make phone calls to family members constantly. The knives are highly over priced. Its hard for middle class families to sell these knives to other middle class families. My manager, Queenie, was terrible. I would probably have lasted longer at the job if it wasn't for her. I do not recommend this job what so ever.

I have grown so much personally and professionally in the past two years working here. I first started working here as a grade 12 student and was involved with lots of other extra-curricular activities. The flexibility of the job allowed me to work on weekends and around school and other things I had going on, which is really great. The experience that you gain here allows you to put it on your resume, and definitely allows you to stand out from the crowd. I also love the people who work here because they all genuinely care about not just your professional goals, but also your personal goals and aspirations and become your biggest supporters in everything you do.

I've been with Vector for 2 years now. It has been a life changing opportunity for me. Being able to pay my tuition in cash due to the ability to have control over your income & schedule is awesome! I wasn't sure if I was cut out for this type of job at first, being that I never sold a thing in my life but after learning more about the opportunity in my interview I was pretty excited!

The meetings are mandatory but are NOT paid, neither is the training. They expect you to sell knives for $1,800 - $2000 to an average person by cold calling.
