Iโ€™ve been bring my cat here for 7 years and have always been pleased with the service. This is a 24 hour clinic, so you can be sure that if you pet needs emergency care, they will be able to help out. As many reviews pointed out, yes this place is a bit expensive but if you have insurance, pretty much most of your costs are covered. They will even send in your insurance claim for you. Parking at this location is behind the building and isnโ€™t the greatest. You have to be careful when you drive down a narrow entryway. Overall, not a bad place.

Dr Bloom is amazing! Today I had my anual check up with my cockapoo and I truly felt that he cares about the well being of my dog, for any procedure my dog has had there is always a clear explanation from him. Thankful to have such a thoughtful Doctor in our lives to take care of my dog.

This clinic used to be a vital part of the pet-owning Willowdale community . While I had issues in the past with a certain Dr. , they could always be relied upon to see your sick pet at the last minute, day or night. Now they have significantly reduced their hours, and wonโ€™t take last minute appointments or walk ins for urgent care. Pet care issues canโ€™t always be scheduled well in advance (especially the ones that need it the most) and losing the access to this type of care in the neighborhood is a real shame. They will refer you to an emergency hospital, but doing that puts strain on the few hospitals who offer this service , meaning longer wait times , and the necessity to even turn away patients. With more people than ever getting pets during Covid you would think that pet medicine and care would be more readily available not less

Once I told them I feed my dogs raw, the vet took two steps back, put on gloves and still wouldnโ€™t touch my dog, as if she would catch a disease. He had itchy ears and wanted to put him back on kibble, an exotic type - I believe it was kangaroo. A lot of dogs are on chicken so she told me to stay off of chicken. When I went to grab the bag by the front desk I checked the ingredients and chicken was the first ingredient on the list. I confronted the vet and she said she didnโ€™t realize โ€ฆ.I left.

I have been to countless vet clinics over the years to try and get to the bottom of my dogs allergies. Dr. Krebs was FINALLY able to diagnose the problem, get my dog on the right food, and she has been allergy free for about 6 months now. Dr. Krebs listened to all of my concerns and genuinely cared about Minnie.

Luna and I couldn't see our regular vet, but she had an ear infection that needed to be looked at right away! As a result, I took the first appointment available else where. And boy let me tell you, I am surely happy I did that just that! I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Karen Hung, who I believe is an amazing Veterinarian, with great knowledge and experience, but most importantly she has PEOPLE SKILLS. From the receptionists, to support staff who I interacted with at Willowdale where extremely helpful and supportive. It felt like a home away from home, although we were only there for a short time period. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am happy and proud to announce that I will be transferring my dog's files over and we have found a vet! One that is makes us feel comfortable, provides useful information and especially takes good care of my pup. Without that feeling of being rushed or misunderstood, I was able to ask any questions/concerns and left this facility feeling at ease and certain of future visits! Corina and Luna (:

My cat is a very stressful cat especially in clinic, they don't know how to handle her aggression. They gave me a pill for sedate my cat, it didn't worked. They couldn't even put in the box again. And they said if the next time she will be aggressive again they need to give her anesthesia to do her vaccines and they are going to do 2 vaccine at a time. Don't make sense, if you can give anesthesia to my cat you can do her vaccines too, right? I started to go another vet clinic for my baby. Update: 1 star.

Got my kitten only regular checked up (vaccine not included) at this place and itโ€™s cost me $260. I was a first time cat owner. The more you concern, the higher price they will make you pay. They made me believe that the kitten might have virus and fleas, so they put blood work and flea treatment medicine on my bill. The receptionist saw that I was worried so she sold me another can of fleas spray for $36 which is sold in Walmart for $9. Now I know the kitten came from a clean home itโ€™s impossible that he would have fleas. I barely used the spray and my place is fine after a year. I have found my cat a new clinic. VCA Willowdale sent me numerous emails in the past year. I ignored them and they sent me lots of mails, telling me itโ€™s illegal if my cat doesnโ€™t have shots. Of course my cat completed his shots. Itโ€™s just not done at this place.
