Expect to meet sales women here not vets. They will try to charge for any unnecessary procedure they can get away with. My 4 month old puppy brook his baby canine tooth and they said they must extract the tooth or it will get 'infected' for almost $1200. It's a baby tooth its gonna fall off in a few weeks naturally. Even if it was to get infected it would cost less than $100 to treat it with antibiotics. They also charged me $65 for a single tab of nexgard when I asked them for a prescription to buy from somewhere else (for $20), they refused to provide the prescription with a silly excuse. Do not take your pet here. Honestly most vets are scams but try your luck somewhere else

It was my first time bringing my dog to emerge and I was really scared. The staff was great and I would have given 5 stars but that day they were short staff and I ended up waiting 3-4hours in my car. Luckily mine wasn't as serious. I hope they can get more staff in as I saw many worried pawrents come in and I can only imagine the stress of the wait time adding to an already emotional day.

When looking for a vet clinic, you want to look for a trustworthy, caring and competent vet professional who provides clear and upfront communication for the care of your pet. Dr. Chui and her staff are exactly that - my dog Shiloh can be reactive and very uncomfortable with highly recommenf vet appointments but they took care of her so well. highly recommend.

Very friendly and patient staffs. Had a great experience here. Thank you for still giving my cat a body check even when he is scared and denfensive. I will definitely calm him down with pills next time!

Please spend some time and read my story before taking your pet to this clinic: Sophie is my 3 year old cat. I used to take her to this clinic since she was just 8 weeks. Few weeks ago, she got fever with lack of appetite, noisy breathing and painful eyes. She was admitted to the clinic on Thursday. They put her through multiple tests, they charged me for about $800 and asked me to take her to the clinic for another test on Friday. On Friday, they charged me for another $400 told me they didn’t get the results and couldn’t find the source of fever and I should wait till Monday! I asked for support during weekend in case she got worse, they said they were not working during weekend and I should take her to the emergency clinics if it's needed !!! (And you all know how much it costs if you take your pet there) During the weekend I had a chance to talk to another vet oversea and he said right away that Sophie had β€œrespiratory infection”, which is a common disease among cats. He said most of those tests were unnecessary, specifically β€œUTI test” is painful for cats. He recommended me denying anymore tests and asking them to start antibiotics. On Monday the clinic told me all tests results were negative and they needed Sophie for CPR test which means I should pay another $300. I told them no more tests and to start antibiotics. No need to say after three doses of antibiotics, Sophie showed improvement and in 3-4 days she got back to normal. Here are my points: 1-Poor diagnose, started from the most unlikely diseases rather than starting with the most common disease 2-Unnecessary communication, her doctor called me several times and bombarded me with all medical terms that I had zero knowledge and kept asking me if I agreed with this or that test. I had no choice but saying do whatever it’s needed. I just trusted them, which was a big mistake 3-Not caring about the pet, put Sophie under a lot of painful and unnecessary tests, not considered that she had fever. Denied starting medication after even 5 days and asking for more tests!!! 4-Not supportive, left me alone during weekend with zero support 5-Not loyal, after talking with their manager, she just said they understood my frustration however I could take Sophie to another Clinic. I’ve told her I keep the right to put my feedback on social media All they care it’s money, they don’t care about you or your pet

First time Vet visit with my cat. Loved them. They handled everything perfectly. My cat was also calm and not scared being with them. The vet Dr. Chui was amazing and very helpful. Definitely would recommend.

To all the staff at Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital - THANK YOU! To Dr Chui, you are an outstanding veterinarian. My six week old kitten was literally on the brink. She came to us with roundworms, diarrhea, vomiting, tummy pain, wasn't eat at all, and overall in trouble. Despite two attempts to help my kitty out with another vet (that was available on Saturday), no luck, kitten was still on the brink after seeing him. As soon as we could get an appointment with YSAH and let Dr Chui diagnose the issues, she's now eating and playing like a little champ - same day, I kid you not!

I've brought my puppy, Gnocchi, here for his vaccinations and they seem to make him feel extremely comfortable! He's always excited to see the people who work here. Vets are very patient, informative and willing to answer any questions. They also reply to emails very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place :)
