Apparently this is a place where they are contracted by multiple couriers, not a franchise of UPS/FedEx. The old man is friendly, but slow with computer. It's understandable for his age. This place is good for comparing prices of long distance packages, when not in a rush.

The previous owner was great. She was friendly, helpful & remembered your name. The new owner is inefficient, very slow, rude & unfriendly. First time: He appeared frazzled, I assumed he just bought the business & was still learning the set up, etc. He was rude, spoke shortly to me & made me feel I was bothering him. Gave it another chance a few months later. The customer he was serving in front of me was well prepared with information. What should have taken 5-10 minutes, took over 30 minutes. Owner was disorganized, unable to type in information with any basic ability, slow, singularly visioned (as if no one else was there, even the customer he was serving. Canpar driver was not happy with the delay, either. However he too was patient. My needs were simple. As I have shipped packages for over 10 years, I required to weigh it & complete the Waybill, only. He was unapologetic for the long wait & no people skills. I will not return to Batavia Business Depot. I will use PakMail. I know they are efficient & friendly.

I was amazed of the experience I received at Batavia' Business Depot. I know what you guys are thinking, it's just a shipment place, but the family owned business welcomed me at the door and helped me through the process of shipping my package. They even took their time to explain how the whole process works and was really patient with my confused self. The respect they gave me and the other customers were phenominal, I definitely recommend this place! To the father and son who I have met today, you guys were amazing!

So I went to Vanload to pick up my parcel, and everything went smoothly. However I left my driver’s license there and didn’t even realize it until I received a posted envelope containing my license! I called to thank them personally for going the extra step, and spoke to Pedrem. In fact he actually tried to hand-deliver it to me but was unable to because he didn’t have the buzzer code into my building. I really appreciate the kindness. Thank you Pedrem! ??

This review is meant to be constructive and positive: - I was at this place a couple of days back and I had to drop off a package from another courier. I stepped into the store and waited for the gentleman who was working at the office. - I waited for about 5-10 minutes as he was working on some other tasks to help me --he didn't want to recognize my presence. - As I've never dropped a package and didn't know the process, I asked if he could help me. I was never asked what was the propose of my visit and told me "I'm working on something else". - He took so long, I waited for a couple more minutes and asked if there are any instructions so that I can follow to help him out with the process. I was told, "that is your job and you have to know what you are doing, we don't even offer FedEx service --Which I already made sure with FedEx over the phone if this location is an authorized place for drop-offs-- and I can't help you with that". - Finally, I assumed I have to attach the slip on the package and just leave it in the designated box. - The gentleman was very rude, unprofessional, short-tempered, unapologetic, with no customer service experience, didn't want to speak & made me feel uncomfortable. Message to the owner: - Please make sure proper training (customer service, people skills) is done before hiring an employee. Customer service is a vital factor for each business where there are many competitors in the market.

FYI: This store no longer accepts pre-paid UPS packages for drop-off unless you pay ~$3 per package. Instead, they will point you to the nearest UPS store instead.

Might be a good idea to post on your web site that you do not accept UPS drop offs any longer. I understand you may have good business reasons for this decision but at least make an attempt to prevent people from driving all the way to your store for no reason

I received one of the best service and I felt the need to spread the word. They made great cost-saving suggestions and their staff and service is amazing. I found a reliable business partner for my e-commerce business. Free and plenty of parking.
