★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guy who helped us seemed to have no idea what he was doing. We were trying to buy a winter tire. Not a specific brand mind you, just a tire that was the right fit for the car and would match the other winter tires(again it did not have to be the same brand of tire). He kept saying we don't have that brand and I can't order it. Again, we were not looking for a specific brand. Ended up going to Canadian tire where we got a tire (not the same brand) no problem. I had only heard good things about this place before going, so I hope this encounter was a fluke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VH has been my local tire shop for over 20years and I always get great service from start to finish. Unlike other tire shops they won't scratch your rims up removing and reinstalling tires.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to the plaza to get my vehicle detailed at the shop located in the same premise as Van Hemmen. On my way there, I hit a massive pot hole and it destroyed my rim and tire. I was told that the owner/landlord at Van Hemmen was too cheap to fix anything, including the units themselves (the whole building is rotting!!!). Now, I am left with a hefty bill to replace my rim and get new tires, because I can't get the same tire matched.
Extremely frustrating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a single mother of two, it’s hard enough trying to keep up with bills and to have this shop give me an outrageous quote on tires and an oil change is just unacceptable and the lady on the phone was not helpful at all. I got quotes from three different shops and theirs was substantially higher for seemingly no reason at all. For all the moms out there - I would definitely not go here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have always received great service from Van Hemmen (oil change, brakes, tire repair/service). The mechanic always explains situations in a simple way, and has gone above and beyond to help solve a few issues I’ve had. The receptionist has also been very pleasant to deal with.
