Online order. Very easy to navigate and add to cart. Ordered soil, manure and wood chips. All items delivered on scheduled delivery date. Needed to add more soil to the order, called their service number, customer service was excellent. Delivery person was also quite nice. Very good experience with this company. Will order from them again.

I got a full skid of kentucky blue grass sod here and it was great quality. I also got a yard of premium soil here. The staff were really helpful and nice. I have since gone back and bought more landscaping supplies. I suggest you order ahead and pay before you go because this place gets busy and things go fast.

Our past experience with Van Beek's has always been positive. We couldn't reach them during the pandemic, but we were happy to get through to them this week. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant, helpful and easy to understand - unlike many I've encountered elsewhere, who tend to speak far too quickly for me to catch what they're saying and who end up having to repeat themselves. The man who delivered the mulch was also very cheerful and pleasant to deal with. Thank you Van Beek's.

I guess you take the good with the bad? I completed my order online the last week of June 2021, and the prices were great! They beat out other local company prices and the product appeared great from the available online images. I am new to ordering such materials in bulk and the website was helpful and user friendly. I completed my order for 5 cubic yards of stone (4 of the 1”-3”, and 1 of the 3” and larger), 2 bags of black mulch, 3 bags of premium soil, 2 rolls of sod, and a large roll of the heavy mesh material for placement below the stone/garden bed. I documented where the delivery person was to drop the stone as requested, with detail. The product was to be shared between 3 neighbours. The delivery was confirmed quickly and planned for the next day. Excellent! The next day I called to ensure I had everything organized for delivery to our home in Mississauga. I was happy with the customer service as I was told all was confirmed, drop off details are noted and if I have anything to inform the delivery person I can do so at arrival. I was Informed that the driver has my number and will likely call before unloading. My partner Jason was present at the time of the delivery and I was in a meeting in my home office. I made my way out right before the product was offloaded. I was told by the driver that the spots I put an “x” for the stone to go is too close to the house and a tree so better not to dump there. I can understand this concern and appreciate this feedback however additional discussion and planning would have resulted in a much better offloading spot. The delivery person dropped the entire load of 5 cubic yards of stone, the bags of mulch, bags of soil, sod rolls and roll of material in 2 huge piles on the driveway. The products were all buried with heavy stone. I ask him about this and the driver said that’s the way you get it. He then left. I would have appreciated a more involved discussion about the best place to have materials dropped at an urban residence. Additionally, taking a few minutes to help me change the drop off spot for the stone would have been very helpful as we had to move it by hand. Finally, dropping all of the stone on top of my other products was not okay in my opinion. As I looked for a Customer service - email - to document my concerns I could not find one. I finally found a few minutes to right a review, so here it is! I hope this is helpful. I will likely be open to buying products from here again; however if I need delivery for a large order I will likely look elsewhere even if the cost is a bit higher. My wife bought two bags of firewood from here during the pandemic, worst wood I have ever used. No heat of the fire, it just smoked out the backyard. Second bag I dried out for a year in case the first one was wet and made no difference. Didn't even use all of it because of the amount of smoke it was creating in the backyard.

The staff is amazing! From the super knowledgeable women who work inside and outside, to the boys who work so hard. Customer service goes above and beyond. I get super excited going down there! I have so much fun discussing dirt, rocks and sharing my designs with staff. You have a need for good quality merchandise? Go to Van Beek's they have garden tools, landscape fabrics and much more. What a difference dry hardwood makes to enjoying a fire throughout the winter months!! This was our first experience with Van Beeks and it will not be our last. We were very impressed with the quality of the wood we received - the best in 20 years! No need to keep looking for a supplier, we have found ours. We went through an entire face cord. Looking forward to reordering as soon as the weather dries out. Thank you

I ordered 3 cubic yards of the premium soil for my lawn. Customer service was good but the product itself is another story. Description of premium soil is light and dark in color. When the soil was delivered, I could immediately tell there was an issue. The soil i received was light in color and more of a dry hard consistency. I called the mississauga location and they confirmed that the premium soil was delivered. Either the actual product delivered was incorrect or the quality is not up to par. Sad to say I'm very disappointed in the soil that was delivered.
