★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a pleasant shopping trip despite of covid virus and the care one has to take these days. The store was filled with some beautiful houshold stuff and it was not too crowded for a Saturday Morning. Picked up some containers for planting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge value village in plaza with huge parking lot. Variety of sections such as knick. Knacks, bedding, shoes, bags, books, art, appliances, electronics, pants, coats, toys, baby items, jewelry, etc. Nicely spacious store. Prices are a little high for junky outdated items. Surprised to see $3.99 for Cd's, and still selling VHS. Several change rooms and wide aisles. Felt their security guard was following me around which was uncomfortable. Maybe it's because I was taking pictures and was wearing some dirty worn clothes from my warehouse job?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice value village. Every value village location has a section that is especially well stocked and filled with good deals. This location in particular has an awesome selection of blazers. The also have an enormous selection of books. The show section here is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes I find great things in the footwear section here...sometimes everything is pretty “blah” or ridiculously overpriced.
Oh...the washrooms here are really gross...but I guess what can you expect in this plaza/neighbourhood?
Nonetheless, there is always some great finds here...definitely a location worth checking out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this location, but this morning when I went, the cashier rung up items trying to claim it was $79.
When I questioned the price, she pointed out that i had 11 items.
I made her start to individually add up the items and it came to like $50.
I brought it down to about $40 but what bothered me was how annoyed she seemed that I did that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are higher here than most other salvation army, national thrift and even other value villages! Workers have to wait 3 days to buy items, probably up charging so they can get what they want with their employee discount

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely large selection of clothing, but everything else was like they said "we have a big footprint, let's fit in as many different things without fitting in different things" so, yeah, they have a lot of "headings" for things to go under, but nothing under the headings. Everything is taken up by clothes. No furniture, no purses, shoes, electronics, the children's stuff was insultingly paltry. My husband just wanted to grab a pair of shorts is his size that were summer shorts that weren't hideous, most VV's that's a, at most, two minute grab. He had to comb the racks and frustratingly only found one item. I noticed there was a population of people looking through the racks like it was their job, I don't know what that was, but they were extremely single minded and almost ferocious in their hunts on the racks.
I doubt I will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t write reviews normally but I HAD to write this one. I’m an avid thrifter and this is BY FAR the best Value Village I’ve ever been too. Everything was organized beautifully (especially the purse section they even organized by colour). Matilda was so kind as well as the other staff I met during my shopping trip. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Value Village should use this store as an example for how other stores should run/be maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a call asking if they had a kids BB glove in stock. The woman who answered was happy to have a look for me and placed me on hold - she was very pleasant, she did not sound annoyed or too busy - just very kind. A cpl minutes later she came back and said they had it and she was kind enough to out it aside for me. When I got there I did a little browsing, picked up a cpl of items as well as the glove and the cashier (her name was Betty too!!), was very sweet. We had a little conversation, I asked how she liked her job and she said nothing but good things about Value Village, her colleagues and more importantly the environment she worked in! Excellent customer service and an excellent customer experience for me!! I am all about customer service - since we seem to be losing it - sadly! Keep up the excellent work ladies. And please know we appreciate you and the kind service you provide!! Thanks to you all!
